Attractive single-storey property accommodating six guests, set within a lawned gardens neighbouring the banks of the River Tay, situated just five miles from the city of Perth.

Situated within attractive grounds on the bank of the River Tay is this delightful little cottage full of character and charm. Its peaceful and quiet location is perfect for those who are seeking a cosy and relaxing retreat. With the river running past the end of its pretty garden, you can enjoy endless scenic walks directly from the cottage and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside Perthshire has to offer. Located just 5 miles north of the cosmopolitan city of Perth, you have easy access to its array of shops, restaurants, bars galleries and cafes to explore.

This end-of-terrace cottage is arranged all on one level and has a homely and comfortable feel throughout.

Entering the property through the front door leads you straight into the warm and bright lounge. Cosy and with a wood burner, this room is perfect for warming little noses and toes after a day exploring. The separate dining room is ideal for family meals together and has patio doors that lead straight out into the garden for some al fresco dining. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and the family bathroom has a shower over the bath. The cottage has three bedrooms comprising one king-size bedroom, one triple bedroom with a double and a single bed and one further single bedroom.

As we go outside, the cottage benefits from a large lawn with children’s play equipment, seating and a BBQ. There is a charming little summerhouse at the end of the garden with views over the adjoining River Tay. It is advisable to supervise young children whilst enjoying the garden, as there are a feature pond and a little stream that runs through it. Ample parking is available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

In its tranquil riverside setting, this cottage is surrounded by the beautiful Perthshire landscape that whispers to you to come and explore its hidden delights. From your doorstep, there is an abundance of walking paths and trails available to explore - that's if you can tear yourself away from the gorgeous garden! The River Tay's waters lap at the bottom and provide an array of riverside walks where you can enjoy a picnic whilst watching the wildlife.

If you are looking to experience some of Scotland's heritage and culture, the beautiful city of Perth lies 5 miles south of the cottage and is definitely worth visiting for a day trip. This vibrant city is classed as one of Scotland's most accessible cities and is brimming with arts, culture, museums, historical venues, shops, high-class restaurants and so much more. Also situated on the banks of the River Tay, this ancient city was once the capital of Scotland, but is now referred to as Scotland's newest city, due to its cosmopolitan vibe.

Other attractions nearby include the beautiful stately home of Scone Palace (4.5 miles). Rich in Scottish heritage and history, it is the place where Robert the Bruce, Charles II and Macbeth were all crowned. Set in spectacular grounds and gardens and being such an influential part of Scottish history makes this iconic palace a must-see.

We love this cottage and always enjoy our week , the beds are comfortable and it's a well equip kitchen, there's plenty of room for the kids to run around in the garden we also like to walk down the river and visit scone palace and Perth lesiure centre.
