Enjoying a magnificent position in North Queensferry with a spectacular view over the Firth of Forth, this wonderful property has ample space for ten guests – with space for two further guests on the additional sofa bed. This is a fantastic base for exploring Edinburgh (14 miles) with the Queensferry Crossing Bridge just a couple of miles away. A unique and stylishly designed property, it boasts glorious views of the Forth bridges and out across the river towards the city.

The focal point of this stunning retreat is the main living space with its fabulous panoramic view across the river. There’s even a telescope in the property to enhance your appreciation of the scenery. With plush bedrooms, elegant living spaces and two spacious dining areas, this is a holiday home to remember.

Stepping into this spectacular house you will find the light, spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner. This wonderful room is dominated by the large curved patio doors which run the breadth of the room offering a breathtaking view across the Forth. It is an ideal space to relax, watch TV, chat about the day or simply observe the beautiful surroundings. Behind the lounge there’s a lovely dining area with a table which can accommodate up to twelve guests and is perfect for enjoying a special celebratory meal. A second, more informal, dining area can be found in the adjacent kitchen/diner and is perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch. The elegantly designed kitchen is more than fully equipped with two ovens, two dishwashers and a large American-style fridge/freezer plus a wine fridge. There’s also a snug additional lounge; with a TV/DVD and iPod dock it’s perfect for children to unwind in, or for adults to hide away with a good book.

Exploring this exceptional property further you will find five fantastic bedrooms, all with TV/DVDs. The super-king-size room features an en-suite bathroom and a patio door leading out into the garden and offering a stunning view of the river and the Forth Bridge. The lovely king-size room has an en-suite wet room, and there’s also a charming double room, a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request). There is also a family bathroom and a separate shower room.

Heading outside, there’s plenty to explore in the large enclosed garden, including seating areas, pathways, sculptures and beautiful lawns. You can enjoy a BBQ or a glass or two of wine and drink in the stunning views across the city and out to sea.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This wonderful house is set in a tranquil private setting in the charming village of North Queensferry. The village has a choice of places to eat and drink and is located at the southern end of the beautiful Fife Coastal Path just a, few hundred metres from the pretty Carlingnose Point nature reserve. The village is also home to the old Queensferry Light Tower and Deep Sea World – Scotland's National Aquarium. You can reach Edinburgh easily either by car (14 miles) or train – the nearest train station is less than a mile away. This historic city features numerous attractions including Trinity House Maritime Museum, the Royal Botanic Garden, Stockbridge Market, St Bernard's Well, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the Festival Theatre, the Surgeons' Hall Museum, the Biscuit Factory and Edinburgh Zoo, and is the home of the royal yacht Britannia. There are also plenty of activities to take part in including boating, watersports, paintball, cycling and golf. Heading north from the property you can explore the historic town of Dunfermline (5 miles). Known as the 'auld grey toun', Dunfermline is home to the remains of an 11th century abbey, the beautiful Pittencrieff Park and the haunting St Margaret's Cave.

This 5 bedroom property has an amazing view of one of Scotlands most recognisable landmarks. Property has excellent finishes for a rental even more so as it is dog friendly. Welcome pack was exceptional quality and most unexpected.

Fabulous property with a definite 'Wow factor'. Comfortable beds and appreciated the large bath sheets. We rented the property in a Scottish winter so the underfloor heating was wonderful (groundwater pumps)! The view is worth the rental fee alone. The house is wonderfully designed and is larger than the photos show. Great entertaining space both in the kitchen and dining room. The garden is great for walking, relaxing, or in our case, kids playing American football. The location is great for the train or access to the motorway.
