This unique luxurious property, sleeping ten, is set in an elevated position with uninterrupted views over the Firth of Forth and the famous Forth Bridges, close to all local amenities.

Enjoying a magnificent position in North Queensferry with a spectacular view over the Firth of Forth, this wonderful property has ample space for ten guests – with space for two further guests on the additional sofa bed. This is a fantastic base for exploring Edinburgh (14 miles) with the Queensferry Crossing Bridge just a couple of miles away. A unique and stylishly designed property, it boasts glorious views of the Forth bridges and out across the river towards the city.

The focal point of this stunning retreat is the main living space with its fabulous panoramic view across the river. There’s even a telescope in the property to enhance your appreciation of the scenery. With plush bedrooms, elegant living spaces and two spacious dining areas, this is a holiday home to remember.

Stepping into this spectacular house you will find the light, spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner. This wonderful room is dominated by the large curved patio doors which run the breadth of the room offering a breathtaking view across the Forth. It is an ideal space to relax, watch TV, chat about the day or simply observe the beautiful surroundings. Behind the lounge there’s a lovely dining area with a table which can accommodate up to twelve guests and is perfect for enjoying a special celebratory meal. A second, more informal, dining area can be found in the adjacent kitchen/diner and is perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch. The elegantly designed kitchen is more than fully equipped with two ovens, two dishwashers and a large American-style fridge/freezer plus a wine fridge. There’s also a snug additional lounge; with a TV/DVD and iPod dock it’s perfect for children to unwind in, or for adults to hide away with a good book.

Exploring this exceptional property further you will find five fantastic bedrooms, all with TV/DVDs. The super-king-size room features an en-suite bathroom and a patio door leading out into the garden and offering a stunning view of the river and the Forth Bridge. The lovely king-size room has an en-suite wet room, and there’s also a charming double room, a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request). There is also a family bathroom and a separate shower room.

Heading outside, there’s plenty to explore in the large enclosed garden, including seating areas, pathways, sculptures and beautiful lawns. You can enjoy a BBQ or a glass or two of wine and drink in the stunning views across the city and out to sea.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This wonderful house is set in a tranquil private setting in the charming village of North Queensferry. The village has a choice of places to eat and drink and is located at the southern end of the beautiful Fife Coastal Path just a, few hundred metres from the pretty Carlingnose Point nature reserve. The village is also home to the old Queensferry Light Tower and Deep Sea World – Scotland's National Aquarium. You can reach Edinburgh easily either by car (14 miles) or train – the nearest train station is less than a mile away. This historic city features numerous attractions including Trinity House Maritime Museum, the Royal Botanic Garden, Stockbridge Market, St Bernard's Well, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the Festival Theatre, the Surgeons' Hall Museum, the Biscuit Factory and Edinburgh Zoo, and is the home of the royal yacht Britannia. There are also plenty of activities to take part in including boating, watersports, paintball, cycling and golf. Heading north from the property you can explore the historic town of Dunfermline (5 miles). Known as the 'auld grey toun', Dunfermline is home to the remains of an 11th century abbey, the beautiful Pittencrieff Park and the haunting St Margaret's Cave.

We did wonder if the house would not be as good as the photos. But the photos do not do it justice. The owners had thought about absolutely everything. From the cleanliness, beautifully decorated rooms, every gadget in the kitchen you could ask for, lovely welcome pack , to the amazing view that you cannot take your eyes off. A lovely home, perfect location and views. Well equipped and clean. Very easy and cheap access into Edinburgh on the train, 35 for 7 people return, with lots to do in the area. Good village shop for supplies. Saw several deer in the garden which the children loved.

Forth Bridges View was even better than we had hoped. It is huge inside so perfect for a family party. Facilities are excellent and the owner was always at hand to deal with any questions or problems which he fixed quickly. The main bonus though is the setting: the views are superb and the garden was a wonderful space for our grandchildren to play Read morein. We loved it there and hope to go back. Hide

This is an amazing property and the location is perfect. You can walk to the train station in 5 minutes and catch trains to various locations including Edinburgh and the train ride over the Forth Bridge is so exciting. It saves you having the hassle of driving. Its our second visit to this house and wouldnt have any hesitation in recommending it.

We spent 7 nights at Forth Bridges View at the end of October. Absolutely stunning and certainly deserves its title, with uninterrupted views of the rail bridge and the two road bridges. The property has everything you could possibly want, and even with 3 children and a dog there was tons of space for us all with sone to spare. We have rented many Read morehomes in various countries over the years , but this was by a margin the most spectacular. Will definitely be back. Hide

Stunning! Location, view, facilities and decor. Just loved it. A real home from home. I could never tire of the amazing view and the layout of the house meant that it could be enjoyed whilst still with the rest of the family. If you want some peace and quiet away from others there is a lovely snug full of games and books.

It looked wonderful on the photos, but it far exceeded all our expectations. It certainly has the WOW factor in all aspects. The children didnt want to go home and we even had one crying because he didnt want to leave! So much space indoors and outdoors in a well kept garden with fabulous view of the Forth Rail Bridge and trains.
