The house was great for a holiday with a young family. Loads of space inside for the kids to play if the weather was poor and loads of space in the garden away from any traffic or noise. The kitchen is really well equipped! Amazing Views, especially from the master bedroom! The location is great for exploring the island. Were leaving here with lots of lovely memories made. It is our first time on Arran and we definitely agree it is a truly beautiful island. Weve spent time in Brodick, which has everything we were looking for, and weve also driven all the way round the island and enjoyed seeing all the small villages, each one prettier than the one before. As far aRead mores the accommodation is concerned Glenburn definitely deserves a 10/10 rating. The view from the bedroom window is wonderful to wake up to each morning, even when the weather is not 10/10. Thank you for a great family holiday - well see you again sometime. Hide

We had an amazing stay at Glenburn. The views from every room are spectacular and the house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Our boys loved the badminton net in the garden too. The owner is lovely. Very welcoming and left us a bottle of wine and homemade biscuits which was a lovely touch We will definitely be back

Beautifully appointed, spacious and immaculately clean house. Two minor downsides were: the track to the house - rutted, holes and loose stones for a 100 yards., and the master bedroom: facing east having no window blinds or curtains at the floor to ceiling window made it very light early in the morning. Whiting Bay is a joy with beach, park, shop,Read more cafes and restaurants. Hide

My wife and I stayed at Glenburn first week in April, spending much of our time walking and cycling around the island. It was a sheer delight to be able to come home to Glenburn each day, as it is a well equipped house with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The weather was changeable but the property consistently brought a smile to oRead moreur faces when we were in the lounge looking out the wall to ceiling windows or using the telescope to checkout the vessels out at sea. It was also great to wake up each morning in the master bedroom and just lie there looking out at the views, always brought a smile to our faces each day, regardless whether cloudy or sunny outside. We found the kitchen well equipped with a range cooker and oven which made it easy to prepare our own meals on the nights we didn't eat out. On the nights we ate out, we had a 10-15 minute walk along the pavement further into Whiting Bay and had good food at Felicity's and Coast. We also loved the large conservatory at the side of the house which was immaculate and had underfloor heating, so although it was early April, we were very comfortable when sitting or eating in there. Karen and Rob were great hosts, they left us very much to ourselves and made every effort to make us feel as though Glenburn was our own, rather than their holiday home, which we really appreciated. They were also very happy to answer any questions we did have during our stay. We will be recommending Glenburn to any of our friends who are going to Arran. Hide
