This stylish and luxurious detached cottage is located in a peaceful setting amid 30 acres of beautiful private grounds with a wood burner and fully enclosed garden, close to excellent local amenities.

Stepping from the front door to explore beautiful, landscaped gardens and parkland, find peace and tranquillity in abundance with a stay at this stone-built cottage. Welcoming four guests and two four-legged friends, small families and couples will find a paradise for walking, biking and hiking as well as an array of quality eateries, inns and pubs in the little town of Biggar, only 1.5 miles away.

Contemporary and modish, elegant furnishings and a muted palette work harmoniously to create an atmosphere of understated sophistication. Cream walls are warmed by wooden floors and pops of pattern in the soft furnishings as large triple aspect windows allow light to flood in from the sunroom, creating a bright interior.

Step into the sunroom, where large windows allow the lovely, landscaped garden to be the perfect backdrop for relaxing with a book. Dry and store your outdoor gear in the utility room, which is also handy for a dog bed or two. As the evening draws in, cook a delicious meal in the kitchen and gather around the dining table, ideal for sociable, friendly mealtimes. Here the wood burner flickers with warmth on cool evenings, creating a relaxing, amber ambience. Settle on the sofa in the living room, glass of wine in hand and pup at your feet as you enjoy a movie night with all the family. Retire to the bedrooms, one king-size and one double, serene in cream and soft floral textiles for a peaceful night’s sleep. Wake rejuvenated and take your morning coffee to the garden as your pup scatters the dew with an early morning roll.

Children and dogs will love exploring the pretty front garden, laid to lawn with shrubs and borders. Dine al fresco morning noon and night on the patio, soaking up the sights and sounds of the countryside, and in the evening relax with a wee dram marvelling at the stars in the dark skies. There is secure bike storage, and ample off-road private parking is available next to the cottage.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
