Enjoy the calm, leafy setting of this homely cottage close to the Scottish town of Strathpeffer. Sleeping up to six guests, it is a comfortable haven in which to relax and enjoy some quality time together. Absorb the green views from your conservatory, soak up the sunshine in your private garden or head off into the attractive former Victorian spa town for the afternoon.

Enter your Highland holiday home and savour its light spaces and countryside views. Find its rooms have been carefully decorated with tones selected from an understated palette, with inspiration drawn from its natural surroundings. Enjoy the sense of home comfort here as well as stylish interior design touches.

The ground-floor accommodation is where you and your party will do much of your living. Relish having both a lounge and a conservatory, affording you the opportunity to spread out and indulge in separate pursuits if you wish. Relax by the fire in your lounge or switch on the TV to watch your favourite show. Escape to the conservatory with your book or simply sit here with a cup of tea, gazing out across the verdant garden. Discover your beautifully finished kitchen/diner is a few steps up from your lounge. Chat to your family and friends as they sit at the table while you cook up something special. One of the bedrooms and a family shower room are also at this level.

Make your way up to the first floor to find the second family shower room. Your remaining two bedrooms are also up here, providing scenic views out across the surrounding Scottish countryside.

Step out through the kitchen door to discover the sunny, enclosed garden. Enjoy meals out in the fresh air on warm days and pass summer evenings outside, chatting over a glass of wine.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Pull on your walking boots and head out across the countryside from your holiday cottage. Hike approximately 4.5 miles to Rogie Falls, a series of falls on the beautiful Black Water and enjoy getting close to the drama via a suspension bridge. Other walks in the area include a route to picturesque Loch Kinellan, about 1 mile away, where a small island bears the ruin of a fort, or a walk to the Iron Age hill fort of Knock Farril, about 5 miles from your holiday home. Spend some of your time in Strathpeffer itself, which is just 1 mile from your base. This Scottish village grew into a spa town during Victorian era and people would travel from across Europe to holiday here. Many believe its waters still have certain healing properties and as such visitors can still drink them if they wish. Browse in the shops, stop for a bite to eat in a café or restaurant and enjoy some of the entertainment on stage at the Pavilion. Drive 20 miles to spend the day in Inverness while you are in this corner of Scotland. Take in some art exhibitions and indulge in the variety of shops here. Marvel at the impressive castle, walk beside the River Ness and spend time in the Victorian market.
