This bright and spacious holiday home is set in a tranquil and relaxing spot in Bridge of Tilt, a picturesque Perthshire village over the river from the delightful neighbouring village of Blair Atholl. Offering warm and cosy accommodation for up to ten guests, this charming property makes a wonderful base for eager walkers, hikers, nature lovers and photographers exploring the southern reaches of the magnificent Cairngorms National Park. Within easy reach of Tay Forest Park, Blair Castle and Loch Tummel, this idyllic retreat is a perfect base for a fabulous range of activities including golf, fishing, archery, whisky tasting, mountain biking and a variety of water sports.

Featuring a warming wood burner and a private, soothing hot tub, this attractively furnished, light-filled property also offers a bright and stylish lounge, a sociable kitchen/diner, five tastefully decorated bedrooms and a fully enclosed garden.

On entering this elegantly decorated and relaxing detached property, the bright hallway leads you through to the spacious and welcoming lounge/diner. Featuring a Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, plenty of seating and a fantastic wood burner, the lounge provides an ideal space for everyone to sit together, chat about the day or watch a favourite movie. A delightful dining area is light-filled and makes a great spot for enjoying a special family meal. Sliding doors lead out from the dining area and into the garden. The fully equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and has a dining table perfect for enjoying a hearty breakfast or a quick snack. Exploring further, there are two ground-floor bedrooms: a charming super-king-size zip-and-link with an en-suite shower room, and a cheerful bunk bedroom. The ground floor also features a useful bathroom and a handy utility/boot room which opens onto the garden.

Going upstairs to the first floor, you will find a snug and inviting seating area on the landing, complete with a Smart TV and comfortable sofas, perfect for kids wanting to get away from the grown-ups. The first floor also offers three fresh and airy bedrooms: a cosy king-size room, a pretty double room and a super-king-size zip-and-link with an invigorating en-suite Jack-and-Jill-style shower room which can also be accessed from the hall.

Heading outside, the fully enclosed garden has a delightful seating area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing an ideal spot to unwind with a glass or two of wine at the end of a wonderful day. There’s also the private wood-fired hot tub, perfect for stargazing into the night. Off-road parking is available for up to three cars.

Avid historians could spend hours touring around the magnificent Blair Castle (0.5 miles) and exploring the extensive grounds, whilst keen golfers can play 18 holes at Blair Atholl Golf Club (0.5 miles). Outdoor activity provider Nae Limits (11 miles) offers canyoning, white-water rafting and quad biking while Highland Fling Bungee (3.5 miles) has a bungee, swing and ziplining course – not for the faint-hearted! For a change of pace, spend an afternoon exploring the excellent range of eateries, friendly inns and quirky shops in Pitlochry (7 miles) and Aberfeldy (20 miles) or decide on a designated driver and visit the distilleries at Blair Atholl (7.5 miles) and Edradour (9.5 miles).

I would recommend this property to families who want a peaceful break from the world. The house has all that you need and more. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are a wealth of walking opportunities for ever level of mobility. While visiting the local museum I met some of the neighbours and they were very welcoming too. Our family would Read morelike to visit again. Hide

One word WOW.. My family & I booked the cottage for a 30th Birthday celebration & I couldnt fault it. It is extremely spacious but still manages to feel cosy & welcoming with everything you need for the perfect getaway. I cannot rate this holiday home more highly! Its in a fabulous location to explore the Cairngorms & a wonderfully appointed home! Perfect for 2 families or a group! It was clean, comfortable and the owners have thought of everything (incl, baby gate, cot, high chair). We arrived to fresh milk, bread & condiments too! Walking distance to Blair CastlRead moree, quiet location, off street parking and the hot tub was a real treat after a day of adventuring around the local area! Absolutely LOVED our stay. Hide

This was a family staycation. The photos of this property do not do it justice. The house is superb in every way. It has the WOW factor. Super location for walks and dining out. The fact that we could take our dogs was a big boost.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean. It was a great base for us to explore the surrounding area and the perfect place to relax our legs after a long day on the hills. The owner was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is smartly decorated and everything was extremely comfortable. Location was great with a lovely quiet garden to enjoy. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival too. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.
