A homely eco friendly, luxury lodge in the village of Cupar located on a working farm with amazing views towards St Andrews and the Eden Valley. A wonderful staycation with family and friends!

This luxurious eco-friendly lodge is located on a working farm with superb views towards St Andrews and makes for a wonderful retreat for friends or family, deep in the Scottish countryside. Make friends with the resident sheep and very friendly goats as you roam the farm and woodland, explore rural Fife, and discover some of the region's beautiful wild beaches.

This impressive modern take on a traditional wooden cabin has a distantly Scandinavian feel. Crisp modern interiors sit alongside rustic wood cladding and a delightful sedum roof that blooms with wildflowers in spring. Designed to let the location do the talking, the lodge's floor-to-ceiling windows drink in the light and fabulous far-reaching views beyond. With energy supplied by sustainable sources, this is a low-carbon holiday destination for the environmentally conscious.

With accommodation all laid out on one floor, enjoy open-plan living against a backdrop of rolling hills and stunning countryside. Sip a coffee at the breakfast bar or cook up a delicious meal in the contemporary kitchen. Put your feet up in front of the fire on the plush sofa seating or plan the next day’s activities around the spacious dining table. Soak tired legs in the stylish family bathroom before retiring to bed in one of three delightful, wood-panelled bedrooms that will have you resting easy before another day of adventure.

To the front of the lodge is an enclosed decking offering panoramic countryside views, the perfect spot for summer lunches or watching the sunset over St Andrews. The gas BBQ and a well-kept lawn with plenty of space for family games are to the rear. There’s a shared play area on site too, where children can entertain themselves for hours with a slide, play-fort, swings, and a sunken trampoline.

St Andrews is known as the home of British Golf, and there are a number of excellent courses to try in the area.

St Andrews itself (9 miles) is a popular seaside town with wide sandy beaches and the ruins of St Andrew's castle sitting on a nearby headland. The vibrant coastal city of Dundee is less than 10 miles away, where you will find a fantastic range of restaurants, cafes, independent shops and high-street favourites.

Alternatively, head 14.5 miles inland to experience Lomond Hills Regional Park, a nature reserve with rocky outcrops, waterfalls and sweeping vistas crisscrossed by hiking and biking trails.
