Stay on the brink of the Isle of Arran and soak up one of Scotland’s most beautiful holiday locations, making yourselves at home in this stunning converted farmhouse. Overlooking the water of Lochranza Bay and within close reach of the island’s many attractions, this delightful property ensures entirely relaxing evenings in after long days out and about. Perfectly suited to a group of friends or a family, this generous accommodation will happily sleep eight guests and one four-pawed pal for an unforgettable trip.

State-of-the-art design features, bespoke furniture and contemporary fittings ensure an entirely luxury stay, whilst a clean, white colour scheme provides a delightfully modern ambience.

Ideal for entertaining, the ground floor features a well-designed open-plan living area, where kitchen, diner and lounge are combined to create one sociable space. This spacious room is bright and cheery, flooded with light through generous windows and French doors leading out to the patio. Your resident chef will no doubt adore cooking up a storm in the modern and well-equipped kitchen, whilst serving dinner couldn’t be easier right here in the dining area. Light the stylish wood burner to create a cosy ambience in the lounge of an evening, sinking into comfy sofas and armchairs to watch TV or enjoy a boardgame as a family. Completing this floor is the first of four generous bedrooms, fully equipped with an en-suite bathroom.

Three further bedrooms can be found upstairs, all of which have been decorated with a stylish and minimalist decor. Make use of the abundance of storage space by unpacking your bags and making the place your own, enjoying charming views out to the garden and seafront through first floor windows. Look forward to a long, hot shower after a long day of exploring the surrounding area on foot, basking under the rainfall shower in the family bathroom before collapsing into one of the comfortable beds.

Exit the property via French doors in the lounge and you’ll find a pretty outdoor spot for the family to unwind. Featuring gnarly old trees, far-reaching countryside views and even your own mini waterfall, this private garden is the perfect spot for enjoying al fresco drinks. Make yourselves comfortable on the outdoor furniture and listen to the waves lap onto the shore on a warm summer’s evening.

From the isolated and peaceful Shetland Islands in the north to the thriving border towns and cities in the south, across wild mountains and serene lochs, and encompassing over 700 islands, Scotland’s rich and dramatic landscape simply must be seen to be appreciated. Scotland is home to the ten highest mountains in the UK – including Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak – and is bordered by three seas, offering epic scenery unlike any other you may have seen.

Whether you choose to explore the Highlands, lowlands or islands, lovers of the great outdoors will be thrilled by the stunning Scottish landscapes where some of the rarest UK wildlife can be glimpsed, including golden eagles, dolphins and whales. Take a road trip on the North Coast 500, Scotland’s version of Route 66, to experience the sheer beauty of the land’s wilderness or, as Scotland is the home of golf, either tee off at one of the 550 courses across parkland, heathland and links courses.

Scotland is also a land of unique culture where the people are renowned for their incredible warmth and hospitality. Experience the peaceful Isle of Lewis where Scots Gaelic is widely spoken, or immerse yourself in the cosmopolitan cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen which are vibrant with thriving arts scenes, delicious restaurants and bustling nightlife. And no trip to Scotland is complete without exploring the castles and distilleries: learn about clan rivalries or bloody battles amongst 13th-century battlements or try a taste of Scotland itself during a tour of one of the 120 whisky distilleries. Pure Scottish culture in a glass.

With so many beautiful places to visit and things to experience, a break to Scotland should not be missed. Our fantastic Scottish holiday cottages will ensure a truly memorable getaway.
