Ideal for anyone eager to follow a section of the Great Glen Way, which passes along the opposite shore of Loch Ness, or to take a cruise out on the still waters of the lake, looking for the monster that some believe has lived in its deep waters for centuries, the location is also perfect for anyone keen to go fishing in the area or to play golf at Fort Augustus.

Let yourselves into this impressive hideaway to find beautifully finished accommodation with glorious views of the grounds and the mountains beyond. Discover you have a dining hall, where you can gather together to dine on meals you have prepared with tasty Scottish produce, and that you have two kitchens to choose from, linked by a utility room, with plenty of space to cook for your family and friends. There is a table in each kitchen, plus a breakfast bar for light meals and quick cups of coffee.

There are also two lounges at this unique Highland home, each with its own wood burner to bask beside and a Smart TV for fun film nights together. Gather in one of these after your busy days out exploring or steal a few minutes to yourself in the snug, where you can catch up on your favourite box set on another Smart TV.

Discover a family shower room also at this level, ideal for rinsing off after using the hot tubs and sauna. There’s a groud-floor super-king-size bedroom (which can be set up as a twin room in advance) which has an en-suite shower room. Two additional super-king-size bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with luxurious jacuzzi bath, and another that can be arranged as a twin, are up on the first floor. Also here are five king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and another with an en-suite shower room. There are family shower rooms here as well.

Make the most of the fabulous grounds to soak up the scenery and savour the serenity. Supervise children by the fenced pond and light the BBQ on summer days and evenings. Bubble in the hot tubs to your hearts’ content and unwind in the sauna after your exhilarating Highland walks. Head into Fort Augustus to potter in the shops, dine out in a cafe and see the famous Caledonian Canal. Drive 24 miles for a day out in Inverness, where there is a much wider choice of independent shops and eateries, as well as the stunning castle to see and the city’s museum and art gallery to visit.
