Our lodge had everything we needed and had some extra special touches which made us feel very welcome. We would definitely return here as it was meticulously clean and with the current situation, it was even more important to make us feel reassured. The owners were very helpful towards us.

Beautifully presented property, fairly remote, short drive to Dumfries but not much else around other than some walks. If looking for peace and quiet, very comfortable accommodation and luxuries then this is ideal. At time of writing no WIFI, which may affect some people. Lovely base to travel around and discover this part of Scotland.

The lodge is finished to a very high spec and was clean and well presented. The outdoor decking, table & chairs and hot tub were very spacious and there was plenty of room for the four of us to enjoy this as well as space to hang towels to dry. Indoors the beds were comfy and it was a big advantage having an en suite shower and dressing room. All oRead moref the usual kitchen utensils were available and it was easy to work the oven and washing machine. Hide

Beautiful lodge with everything you need at your fingertips. Location perfect for a relaxing holiday with stunning views over the hills. Although just two of us and our dog, the lodge would be perfect for two couples or a family of four.
