Stylish detached house with private hot tub and BBQ hut with seating area. Enjoying spectacular sea views towards Inverness, Kessock Bridge and the Black Isle, perfect for gatherings of friends and family.

This stunning detached house overlooking the Moray Firth near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands is the perfect property for friends or families to relax together in style. Lovingly refurbished with contemporary décor, the house is light and airy throughout with beautiful views of the Moray Firth across to Kessock Bridge and the Black Isle. With private access on to the beach, you’ll have front row seats to watch the resident seals playing and relaxing in their natural habitat. You may even be lucky enough to see the pod of bottlenose dolphins that have made this their home – it’s one of the best places in Europe to see these delightful creatures. Despite the tranquillity and feeling of isolation here, you are only 2 miles from the historic, estate village of Culloden and 3.5 miles from the Scottish Highlands’ capital, Inverness, which has all the benefits of a city, but with a more relaxed approach to life. After a busy day exploring, this property has the advantage of its own BBQ hut and an eco-friendly, wood-fired hot tub which offers the best place to watch the spectacular sunsets on a clear evening.

Situated on a large plot on the banks of the Inverness Firth, this property boasts plenty of space. Its beach-hut style exterior reflects the coastal location and instantly creates the sense of somewhere to relax and soak up the surroundings. On entering the property, you’ll find yourself in the large hallway that leads into the second lounge which has a double sofa-bed and TV. Also off the hallway is the stylish bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and separate shower. Next to this is the handy utility room, which is somewhere to store and wash wet weather gear. The large, bright, well-equipped kitchen/dining room has been beautifully designed and is completed by amazing views.

A few steps lead down to the main lounge which has a contemporary wood burner for those chilly, Scottish evenings and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the panoramic sea views. French doors lead out to the garden.

Back through the hallway are the four bedrooms: two king-size, one double and one quirky bunk-bed room. All the bedrooms have their own style and have been finished to a high standard to create somewhere calm and relaxing to rest at the end of a busy day. The two king-size rooms have TVs and stylish en-suite shower rooms for an added sense of luxury.

Outside, tucked in the corner of the spacious lawn there is a stunning, circular BBQ hut and a wood-fired hot tub, making this property even more special. From here, you can also access the beach. Ample off-road parking is available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • 4 bedrooms – 2 king-size, 1 double, 1 bunk bedroom
  • 1 bathroom and 2 en-suite shower rooms
  • Electric range oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer

  • TV/DVD in lounge, second lounge and all 4 bedrooms
  • Sleeps 8+2 - double sofa bed in the lounge

This property's location has the best of both worlds: the historical and cultural attractions of a city and the unbeatable natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands, with its range of outdoor activities. The village of Culloden itself is famous for its Battlefield where the Jacobite Rising came to a brutal end in 1745. Now a National Trust attraction, you can find out all about its history. 10 miles away, you can also visit Fort George which was George II's answer to the Jacobite unrest in the form of possibly the mightiest artillery fortification in Europe.

Nearby Inverness is popular because of its cathedral, castle, market, shops and eateries within its compact city centre. Although busy compared to the surrounding countryside, it has a more laid back feel than cities elsewhere.

To the north, Nairn Beach (14 miles) offers miles of golden sand to play in, walk on or admire from the promenade. If you fancy yourself as a myth-buster, head to world famous Loch Ness (17.5 miles) to see if you can catch a glimpse of the supposed monster. To the west of Inverness is the bustling village and beautiful river of Beauly (16 miles), which is a great spot for gentle strolls around the upmarket shops and eateries or some salmon fishing. It is also a popular base for outdoor enthusiasts with some stunning glens and mountains close by including Glen Affric. Whether it's hiking, climbing or cycling, there'll be a route for you to explore.

Fabulous cottage in a great location with ever changing views especially when we saw the seals.Very comfortable bedrooms and layout of the kitchen area and lounge. BBQ shed was perfect and even when the weather wasnt too good it was a great place to sit and eat. The hot tub great to sit and admire the views too.

Great cottage and views. Cottage very peaceful. Beach is for exploring with wellies on not for building sandcastles but good sandy beaches and lots of attractions within 1hr drive and main road close by though can be tricky joining it at peak times

Fabulous location feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere but is actually close enough to shops/restaurants etc. Fantastic sitting in the garden watching the seals play on the beach. Property itself is lovely with loads if space and very well equipped.

Overall, we had a fabulous time, enhanced by glorious weather. House has amazing views, nice quiet spot, BBQ outhouse was great to use in the evenings. Spacious property, so taking children and dogs worked well.

We had such a lovely stay at Pebble Beach. There was a heating issue but the owners son was amazing at sorting this out for us, nothing was a problem and he even gave us 2 bottles of wine to say sorry. The property is large and spacious and has stunning views across the Moray Firth to the Kessock Bridge. Large garden and direct access to the stony Read moreshore. Hot tub and BBQ hut were available but unfortunately due to bad weather we didn't get a chance to use. Hide
