Beautifully renovated, this fantastic country house’s period features create a charming timelessness. Sleeping 14 guests plus four dogs across six bedrooms, gather all your friends and family for some time and space away in very attractive surroundings. Nestled on the edge of a pretty village, with the picture-postcard East Neuk of Fife harbour villages; wonderful sandy beaches and scenic walks through the beautiful Tentsmuir Forest on your doorstep, there is enough to keep even the most energetic individuals happy.

 

A wonderful arts and crafts Edwardian country house, beautiful period features blend effortlessly with contemporary touches, with traditional pieces such as the stained-glass windows, grand staircase and feature fireplaces highlighting the true beauty of this country property. Welcoming and extremely comfortable, there is plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet corner for some downtime if needed.

 

Store your outdoor clothing in the vestibule and be welcomed by the hall with its feature fireplace and grand staircase. The kitchen is spacious and bright with a dining table and space at the breakfast bar for grabbing a quick snack. For more formal meals, settle at the dining table in the stylish and characterful lounge, before relaxing on the inviting sofas in front of the wood burner with a good book as the kids play on the Wii.

 

A traditional feel has been created in the six bedrooms with warm wooden furniture complementing cream walls and pretty, soft furnishings. All the bedrooms boast TVs, ideal for a bit of privacy on lazy mornings and cosy evenings, and with all six bedrooms having en-suites, there will be no need to queue for the shower. The same character carries through to the bathrooms, fresh, bright and serene, just perfect for a long, relaxing soak. You’ll find a mix of king-size, double and twin bedrooms, as well as a super-king-size room which can be made into a twin, and one double with an additional two single beds, suiting a variety of party makeups.

 

The beautifully planted, enclosed courtyard garden is the perfect place to start the morning, coffee in hand as the children and their furry friends potter about to their hearts content. In the evening sizzle up a BBQ and dine alfresco, and if the weather is warm settle in the courtyard garden with a dram in hand for a lazy evening of stargazing. There is a pub and restaurant within walking distance, ample off-road private parking, an electric car charging point and outside storage (by arrangement) for bikes and golf clubs.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
