Inside, this single-storey, contemporary cottage is beautifully light and airy, with lovely views through the floor-to-ceiling windows that allow the light to flood in. The exposed timber beams and wooden flooring add character, and the whole property is finished to an extremely high standard.

The adjacent dining table for two is next to the window so you can enjoy the beautiful views as you sit down to eat. On warm days, relax on the comfortable loungers and doze with a book, or sit back on the swing seat and take in the view. In the evening, the deck is the perfect spot for a glass of something chilled by the warmth of the firepit. An ideal place for a quiet get away from it all with a fur baby or two. A compact, well equipped cottage, eco friendly, lovely outdoor space too, you cant ask for more really. I dont want to say much more otherwise i wont be able to book next year! Full marks allround.

What a perfect cottage to stay in, so clean comfortable and warm and with lots of lovely little touches. Lots of modern appliances to make your stay enjoyable - we specially enjoyed the ice maker! We really appreciated the generous welcome basket and warm welcome and hope to return soon.

Experience the peaceful Isle of Lewis where Scots Gaelic is widely spoken, or immerse yourself in the cosmopolitan cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen which are vibrant with thriving arts scenes, delicious restaurants and bustling nightlife. And no trip to Scotland is complete without exploring the castles and distilleries: learn about clan rivalries or bloody battles amongst 13th-century battlements or try a taste of Scotland itself during a tour of one of the 120 whisky distilleries.
