Single-storey property offering comfortable accommodation for four guests, located in the village of Scone, just a short distance from Scone Palace, and two miles from the city of Perth.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Scone, guests are encouraged to let their hair down and feet roam from this cosy base for four. In walking distance of the village’s shops and eateries and affording easy access to culture, country and coast, there will be plenty to write home about.

A family home at its core, this two-bedroom cottage offers year-round appeal. With ample space to spread out, yet exuding cosy, familiar vibes, it is an idyllic home from home for up to four guests and two canine chums. Fill your days with as much or as little as you please and treasure every moment in your private retreat.

A single-storey property, everything you could need, and more is carefully parcelled across the ground floor. Fire up the oven for family favourites and gather around the dining table to share plates and conservation. Later on, the light-filled lounge beckons with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, and is made even cosier in winter with the wood burner a-crackling.

Great for friends or couples, both of the property’s bedrooms are inviting double rooms. Pick your favourite and savour drawn-out mornings and early nights wrapped between soft sheets. Offering the best of both worlds, the cottage’s bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower, so you can wake up with an invigorating rinse or chill out with a dreamy soak.

Outside, the two-part garden will be an irresistible proposition for both two and four-legged guests looking to sprawl out in the sunshine. Featuring a patio seating area topped with garden furniture and a BBQ, as well as grassy lawn, you can indulge in energetic games of fetch with your pups before tucking into al fresco meals.

Guests should be aware that although the property is based on one floor, it is, unfortunately, not suitable for wheelchair users, due to the narrow doorways.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Enjoying a central location in Scone village, you won't be more than a few hundred yards to the local shop, eatery and village green. With roadside parking available outside the property, you can easily ditch your wheels for a few days and enjoy the sights nearby. Or, for a slight pickup in pace, you can drive the 3 miles to Perth where a whole host of restaurants, bars and boutiques await to vie for your attention. If your city lust is still not satiated, then a trip to Dundee is definitely in order. Only 19.5 miles away, you can wander the streets of this attractive coastal city and visit some of the many attractions, including a trip to Discovery Point.

Of course, Scotland is famed for its unbelievably beautiful scenery, so it would be a shame not to experience some of the incredible landscapes first-hand. A great place to go to dose up on fresh country air and take in the sights, Scone Palace (the site of the coronation of Scotland's kings) is only 2.5 miles away. Providing a wonderful way to while away the hours, the palace boasts extensive gardens, wooded grounds, a children's adventure playground and a maze for you to conquer!

This cottage was wonderful, much better than we expected, very comfortable and probably the best equipped property, we have been in. The owner was on hand if we needed anything. The weather was extremely good, for September, so it was lovely to have a nice garden to sit in.

An absolute gem of a property. Everything about it first class would highly recommend. Attention to detail spot on and everything so fresh and good quality. Perfect location as quiet at nights as well, yet central for travelling around and about.

Really well equipped cottage on the location is surprisingly private and very quite given its within the village. We also liked fact that at least two long walks can be made with the dog without getting into your car. We have been to country cottages where everything fenced and had to drive to a path. Very comfortable cottage in a great location for exploring the Perthshire area.
