The town boasts a number of shops, eateries and landmarks such as Granny Kempock's Stone thought to bring good luck.

Luxurious accommodation with high quality decoration, lots of lovely extras like sweets and coffee bar and a bottle of cold bubbly along with fruit bowl, eggs, bread, milk. My four dogs were also looked after well with their own doggie goodies. Fantastic views and location of Loch Long, where we saw wildlife every day.

Waking up to the amazing view over the loch was wonderful, even on grey days. The property is ideally located for either hill walks or walks around the lochs, and very well laid out to look after the dogs easily - also a local shop next door and a very helpful information pack from the owners to assist - - what more could you want!

This cottage was lovely with a perfect view. Lovely and clean and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the bread, milk, butter, eggs and Prosecco the owners left for us, what a lovely gesture. I would recommend this place to anyone. We took my elderly mother and it was perfect for her, in a peaceful area right next to the general store. Read moreLoch long looks amazing. Hide
