This cottage is in an idyllic part of Fife. You are close to St Andrews and Cupar itself is great for shops and a park beside the wee river. Dot and her husband are so thoughtful leaving eggs, treats and flowers, even nibbles for our dog. The butterflies at the door was so special. Great property, we went with our 1 year old and it was perfect for what we needed. Cupar is an excellent place with children with loads to do and a really easy drive to Dundee which has a great pool and St Andrews which has a lovely beach if you get the weather!

Cottage location very good, owners were nice and we had a good welcome pack with some home made cake. The accommodation was good, very good bed (we slept well), kitchen equipment was easy to use. As the wardrobe did not hold all our clothing we had to have some in the case under the bed which was a bit awkward (we had been away from home for 3 weekRead mores so had a lot with us plus walking gear), however we would recommend it to friends as we enjoyed our stay in this area. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, but this was due to no heating or hot water. The owners bent over backwards to remedy the situation and compensate us. They also offered to pay for alternative accommodation until problem sorted. However, as we were only an hour from home, we decided just to return home.

A lovely compact cottage. We had a lovely welcome from Dorothy and thoughtful touches were left for us and very gratefully accepted, such as flowers, milk, wine, eggs, cake, tea, coffee, sugar etc. Everything was like home from home, clean, fresh, modern and private. Lots of information was provided on walks and local places of interest, with booksRead more, DVDs, radio. We had a lovely week there and would recommend it as a base, thought not much to do in Cupar. Lots of other places within 10 miles Hide
