This former observation tower is located on the Moray Firth at Inverness. Perfect for anyone wishing to leave the car at home, Inverness (2 miles) is easily reached by public transport. Once there, you will find a historic castle, cathedral, Victorian market, shopping centre and fantastic selection of eateries to choose from. Closer to home, you will find a fish and chip shop and cafe within 0.5 miles.

No visit to the Highlands is complete without a day trip to hunt for Nessie at the infamous Loch Ness, (15 miles), where you will also find an exhibition centre, scenic waterfalls and lochside castle. Take to the open roads with chauffeur-driven Highland Trike Tours in Inverness, or step back in time with a visit to Culloden Battlefield (8 miles), which marks the site of the historic 1746 battle between the Duke of Cumberland and Prince Charles. Other local attractions include dolphin spotting excursions from Inverness harbour (2 miles) and Merkinch Local Nature Reserve, which is on this property’s doorstep.
