Located in the town of Cullen on the Moray Firth coast, this property sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a fantastic spot for keen walkers. Set out on foot to explore the surrounding countryside and coastline. Follow the old railway line at the Moray Coast Cycle Trail that leads all the way to Burghead (30 miles), which itself has an ancient history dating back to the early Iron Age. Keen golfers should take to the green at Cullen Links Golf Club, while younger guests will enjoy blowing off steam at the play park. Cullen itself is home to a good choice of shops and eateries, all set against the stunning backdrop of old railway viaducts. Stock up on supplies for your stay in the supermarket, or tuck into a delicious portion of locally-caught fish and chips. Take to the water with a wildlife boat trip or fishing trip from the harbour town of MacDuff (15 miles), which is also home to an aquarium, golf club, outdoor swimming pool and maritime garden. The house is immaculately presented and clean. It is a real home from home with plenty of utensils and equipment to cook. The main bathroom is smaller and the corner shower is a tight fit. The cinema/games room is a nice addition,we used the pool table, and tried the projector screen, but felt the room is too small to get the benefit of this. The dRead moreescription of 'bbq' available is misleading, we bought and brought charcoal expecting a BBQ, there is only a tray to accommodate a disposable. Hide

Tarnash was a very comfortable and spacious property that would easily accommodate 6 people. Location was fantastic with beach a few minutes away, shops and takeaways on doorstep and not far to go for lovely walks.
