The apartment is located in an enviable spot in the heart of Edinburgh. Within half a mile are Princes Street and George Street as well as an array of popular shops including Harvey Nichols, John Lewis and Multrees Walk, making this an ideal property for guests indulging in some retail therapy. Among many other nearby attractions and landmarks are the Royal Botanic Garden, the Scottish National Gallery, the Assembly Rooms, Stockbridge Market, Surgeons’ Hall Museum, the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh Playhouse and the historic Edinburgh Castle (all within a mile). The apartment is perfect for visiting Edinburgh at any time of year, whether for the Christmas markets, the Edinburgh International Festival, the Fringe, or Hogmanay of the Military Tattoo. Great property in a fantastic location - very central but quiet at night. We really enjoyed the fact that it is such a historic location. The flat is well-equipped and comfortable. We parked in the Omni carpark (next to John Lewis) less than 10 mins walk away, and just parked outside the flat at the beginning and end of our holiday.

The flat is well equipped and very comfortable, and remarkably quiet for its on-street location. It is perfectly located for a short walk into the centre of Edinburgh, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and a small Tesco within a short walk too. Excellent public transaport nearby if needed. Would definitely stay again if I go back to Edinburgh at sRead moreome point. Hide

First impressions were disappointing as the apartment didn't feel clean.The bathroom is shabby with mould around the bath, the flooring looked dirty around the edges & the smell was unpleasant.Similarly the kitchen flooring felt unclean.The beds were made up untidily but the linen was clean.The towels were clean & soft.Living room furniture is shabRead moreby but comfortable.The apartment grew on us, the location fabulous.Apartment feels shabby & needs time & attention spent on cleaning & tidying. The apartment has such a lot of potential. It's in a great location and is so practical for a city break. It was just what we needed. However, it wasn't particularly clean when we arrived and it's in need of some TLC. Time for an update and some repairs. Then it will be lovely. Superb location with easy access to everywhere in the city. Spacious flat with character in a pretty quiet residential street. What not to like?!

A fabulous holiday property in a fantastic location. The apartment is stunning, although a little too shabby chic. It is such a light and spacious environment and so close to the centre of Edinburgh. 3 generations all had a great stay.

Fantastic central location. The flat is spacious and has a very nice living and eating room. Three bedrooms great for a family. It was one of the cheapest in central Edinburgh at New year time. However some of the furnishings and equipment "has seen better days" -e.g. quite worn furnishings, single bed mattress unsupportive for anything other than Read morea young child, very well used kitchen ware and dated kitchen and bathroom. The flat is gorgeous. Spacious, and brilliantly appointed for the city centre. The two double beds are soft but comfortable & the bed linen clean. In the sitting room, the sofas are large & really comfortable, too. The kitchen is tiny but leads to a small balcony where we had drinks etc. so its not a problem if youre not eating at home! The bathrooRead morem is also small but the shower is powerful. Its a lovely flat & gives you a feeling of grandeur for a week! Hide

Very poor value for money. Overall impression was that everything and everywhere needed a deep clean and an upgradefurnishings, towels, bedding and equipment in the kitchen etc. Photographs on the website are misleading. Only good thing was the location. Really disappointed.
