Bothy very clean and very well presented. A bit out the way and all up hill. Bonus of having a electric car charger, however, it's using a 13 amp plug socket and takes a while to get a full charge. The two chairs need restringing and we're very uncomfortable to sit on. All in all great bothy to get away to relax and lots of local walk with our dog.Read more Hide

The Bothy is a fantastic wee hideaway, everything you could need is provided and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous. Only a couple of miles from the village of Dunning but be aware the bothy is situated at the top of a very steep hill, wasn't an issue for us but might be for others. Gorgeous place, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The fairly remote location up in the hills is beautiful and the views outstanding. At night due to the lack of light pollution it was wonderful to see the stars. It is very small but for a short break ideal. A few steep miles from Dunning this is an excellent place to reach Perthshire and Fife over quite challenging country roads or by motorways.
