This beautifully presented apartment sits right on the cobbled quay of Leith’s wharf. Stroll straight out of your patio doors onto the portside streets, full of vibrant shops, restaurants and local history. The apartment is a contemporary, calming space, the perfect base for two from which to explore this fascinating area of Edinburgh.

The property itself is a one-bedroom apartment, situated in a lovely converted wharf building dating back to the 18th century. The rooms are light and bright, and decorated in a sweet modern style, letting original features like exposed beams and stone pillars shine.

Enter into your open-plan living space, combining sitting room, dining area, and kitchen, all arranged delightfully around the view of the river as it passes by the cobbled wharf. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences you could want for making your own feasts while you’re here. Take your meal to the romantic dining table for two, where you can eat beside the view. Head through to the bedroom next door, a gorgeously light and breezy room with patio doors opening straight onto the cobbles. The bathroom is an indulgent, chic space with a shower over bath, perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak before heading out on the town.

Outside the property, the exterior of the building forms a pretty part of the town’s vista, and the streets of Leith are right outside your door - yours to stroll and begin the trail along the Water of Leith to the Firth or into town. A communal grass area offers a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee in the Scottish sunshine.

The apartment building is located right on the wharf in the centre of the popular cultural quarter of Leith, in the north of Edinburgh. The Water of Leith floats by, and you can follow the waterside trail through hidden cycle paths and walkways right into the heart of the city.

There are plenty of things to see and do in Leith and its vicinity - visit the cinema and shops at Ocean Terminal less than a mile away or take a tour of Royal Yacht Britannia. The town is especially known for its food, with seafood restaurants of all shapes and sizes making the most of their Firth-fresh location.

Head into Edinburgh for unique city delights and astonishing history. Edinburgh Castle is 3.5 miles away – make the journey by bus, car, or a gentle walk to see this magnificent structure with award-winning historical exhibits. The Royal Mile begins at the gates of the castle and you can follow it for all the tartan and haggis you could desire. Take a ghost tour to get a taste of the more haunted side of the city. Or, if you fancy checking out a lovely neighbourhood beach, head to Portobello, a quaint community by the seaside, 3.5 miles from your door.

Quite disappointing. Apart from the really good location and if you like accommodation with a student feel to it . Not suitable if youre uncomfortable in a confined space as bedroom barely enough as a single room. Great for food shopping but dont buy anything that needs heating up on the hob as not hot enough to boil an egg. Problem with ants in kiRead moretchen area. If youre used to a welcome pack(biscuits, milk etc) youll be disappointed as no such thing here. No bath mat provided . Hide
