Converted from an original late 18th century cooperage, this modern-day apartment has beautiful river views and sits in pretty communal grounds that run along the Water of Leith. With so many attractions right on your doorstep, you will be perfectly placed to discover and explore an area of Edinburgh that is fast becoming one of the top food destinations in the whole of Scotland.

This impressive property is accessed through a secure entrance into the main building and then either an elevator or stairs can be taken up to the apartment door. Furnished and finished to a high standard, the property has some lovely features that make it personal and homely. The lounge/diner is equipped with a sofa bed and underfloor heating making it a warm and tranquil space to relax in. Separated by impressive exposed wooden beams, the kitchen area is spacious and well-equipped with a central island so that you can prepare dinner whilst enjoying a glass of wine and entertaining guests. As you continue down the hallway there is the bright double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and the chic family bathroom.

Outside, the apartment enjoys shared communal gardens that are situated along the water’s edge and boast wonderful views over the river. Here you can sit in the grounds and watch the boats and wildlife pass you by or take a walk along the Leith Waterway which runs for 12 miles, right from your doorstep. There is also resident parking.

Leith was once the main port for trade into Scotland and is now a vibrant and thriving area of Edinburgh. This waterside location offers an abundance of cultural attractions such as the Water of Leith Walkway and the historical maritime Trinity House whilst also being home to The Royal Britannia ship that sailed the Queen and her family for over 40 years. This area of Edinburgh is also extremely well known for its selection of culinary delights and considered to have some of the best places to eat in the whole of the UK. With a fantastic variety of seafood restaurants, bistros, celebrity kitchens, pubs, restaurants and much more on your doorstep, you might find it hard not to fall in love with Leith!

With Edinburgh surrounding this pretty little port, there is regular transport in and out of this beautiful historical city day and night. With so much to see and do here you will be completely spoilt for choice. Great little apartment in the heart of Leith right next to the canal. Ideal location for eating out or simply going for a walk along the canal path. Property has loads of features making the stay very homely whilst being close enough to many attractions nearby for days out and not to far from Edinbugh central. Brilliant property, We wanted for nothing. Ideally positioned for sightseeing. Park the car in the private car park ,hop on the bus for Edinburgh -see the sites- Great eating establishments in site of the flat .Don' worry if you require disabled access -Lift provided , all buses are low entry as well. We will be returning.

It is a lovely apartment and very conveniently located for getting into Edinburgh. Bus stops close and the busses are frequent. Loads of bars and restaurants right on the door step.
