Enjoying an idyllic location on a working farm in a breathtaking part of East Neuk, this attractive and stylish lodge features glorious coastal views across the Firth of Forth. A fabulous base for golfers, walkers and nature lovers, the lodge offers cosy accommodation and a private hot tub to luxuriate in.

With splendid sea views across the Firth, this light, spacious and welcoming lodge has been decorated in cool neutral tones with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. At the end of the day you can enjoy a dip in the hot tub, share a romantic meal in the cosy dining area or spend an evening in front of the warming wood burner.

On entering this light, stylish and welcoming lodge you will find the bright, airy and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. You can unwind at the end of a great day in the cool and relaxing lounge which features a Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and a cosy wood burner. There are two delightful dining areas, including a handy breakfast bar, and the attractively designed kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Exploring the lodge further, there are two delightful super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms which can both be made up as twins on request, each featuring a Smart TV, patio doors and en-suite facilities with underfloor heating.

Stepping outside you will find the large and fully enclosed patio area which provides a safe haven both for children and for dogs. Here you can unwind and lie back in the private hot tub and admire the stunning sea views. You can also enjoy a spot of al fresco dining, an evening drink or a BBQ, or spend the night stargazing across the Firth of Forth. There’s also a fully covered decked area with seating and LED lighting.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a fantastic area for nature lovers, cyclists and keen walkers to explore, with plenty of trails to follow and the nearby Fife coastal path with its stunning views. You can stop off in the popular town of Anstruther (3 miles) which is renowned for its fish and chips and is also the home of the excellent Scottish Fisheries Museum. Exploring the area further you will find the historic village of Pittenweem (4 miles). With a choice of great shops, pubs and restaurants, the village has a number of attractions and landmarks including Pittenweem Skate Park, St Monan's Windmill and St Fillan's Cave. Also nearby are Kellie Castle (4 miles), Scotland's Secret Bunker (2 miles) and Kingsbarns Distillery (5.5 miles), while fans of outdoor activities can head to the fabulous Elie Watersports on the coast (8.5 miles). You can also take a boat trip out across to the breathtaking Isle of May, now a nature reserve for a range of seabirds and seals, but with a long history of smuggling and adventure. There are several golf courses within easy reach including those at Anstruther (3.5 miles), Kingsbarns (6 miles) and Crail Balcomie (7 miles). The home of golf, St Andrews (6.5 miles) is also nearby. St Andrews is also famed for its ancient buildings, medieval streets, historic university and ruined cathedral, as well as a variety of great pubs and restaurants.

Just back from a 3 day stay at The Puffin... But we never wanted to leave! Although the weather was definitely not on our side, it did not dampen our stay. The holiday home has everything you need for a short break away. The layout is perfect and the decor is beautiful. One of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in... And it was huge!! Amazing lodge with great facilities. Secluded enough for peace and quiet to relax but within easy reach of Anstruther and St Andrews. Well thought out lodge containing all necessary amenities especially for our dog who was able to run freely in the secure enclosed garden area.

This is a really excellent and well equipped lodge. We met Andrew on the day and he was very welcoming. The hot tub was a bonus and we definitely scored with the weather. The view was tremendous and we loved the twinkly outside lights!

We stayed at this property with another couple and our dog. The 2 ensuite bedrooms were ideal. One party member is disabled and found the lodge easy to navigate. The property is furnished and equiped to a very high standard. Beds extremely comfortable and hot tub great for relaxing in the evening. Had a lovely relaxing stay in a well maintained lodge. Very dig friendly Lots to do in and around the area and we dint play Golf . Owners were really helpful and friendly . Just had a lovely relaxing week :) would happily recommend it .

The lodge is amazing, so fresh, modern and comfortable. The fact it is not in a village or town is made up for with the wonderful view and peacefulness especially when in the hot tub and is not far from the beautiful St Andrews. If booking this accommodation you will not be disappointed, it is on my wish list to return.

Perfect retreat for families & friends. Fantastic lodges in very beautiful & peaceful location. Need car to explore area & get provisions, as out of town, but only 5-10 mins from local Coop. Jess & Andrew perfect hosts & so friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend & hope to go back again!!!
