A stunning family home with sea views, on the Isle of Arran right on the beach at Lamlash Bay, with shops and pubs less than 1 mile away in the village of Lamlash.

Situated in a beautiful, elevated spot towards the south of the spellbinding Isle of Arran, and with stunning views across Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle, this stylish and welcoming property makes a wonderful holiday home for a large family or small group of friends. Set on one level and with easy access to the beach, this is a spacious retreat with a large enclosed garden and an additional annexe making it ideal for two families. Lamlash is a picturesque village with a choice of places to eat and drink. There are also plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and sailing.

This is a delightfully light-filled bungalow which is ideally situated on the Arran coast, with uninterrupted sea views from the main living area and from two of the bedrooms allowing you to see some magnificent sunrises and sunsets. Beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, the main living space also has large picture windows letting the light in and maximising the sea views.

On entering this spacious, fresh and welcoming property, you will find yourself in the bright and inviting lounge which features plenty of comfortable seating and is an ideal space for relaxation at the end of a fantastic day. Exploring this lovely single-level retreat further, the stylishly designed kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a range of appliances and utensils making it a pleasure to cook in. The attractive dining area is perfect for the family to gather, share a fantastic meal and chat late into the night about the day’s adventures. Exploring this lovely house further, you will find four cosy bedrooms, several with beautiful views. There’s a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, one king-size room, a twin room and a cot bedroom. The property also features an additional family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath.

The property also offers a cosy annexe which can be accessed via an entrance at the back door of the main house. The annexe features a double bedroom and an en-suite shower room.

Heading outside, you can unwind in the large enclosed garden which has plenty of garden furniture so you can enjoy an al fresco meal, a glass of wine in the evening or a coffee in the morning as you plan your day. There’s plenty of space for children to play, and the beach is just a few metres across the road. Ample private parking is available.

Set out on foot to explore this pretty coastal village, with its close community, golf club, yacht club and supermarket or stroll down to the beach for a refreshing dip or walk along the soft sand. From Lamlash, regular boat trips leave for Holy Isle, an ancient spiritual haven that stretches back to the 6th century. Head north along the east coast to reach Arran’s largest village of Brodick (4 miles) with its shops, cafes, restaurants and castle or continue to the mighty Goatfell (9 miles).

This is a wonderful, comfortable, spacious house in a stunning shoreside location opposite Holy Isle. The views from the conservatory are beautiful, even on a stormy, grey autumnal day! A wonderful, well equipped base for enjoying Arran. We cant imagine a better view over the sea from any other property on the island. Kirsty is always very welcoming and helpful. Very spacious and flexible with the lovely separate en-suite bedroom in the Hut behind the main house.

Stunning location , house very clean comfortable and well equipped, had everything you would need especially with small children. This is our second time staying there and we would certainly book a holiday there again .
