I had this trip in mind for many years, as I do have some history with the area. I could not have picked a better location. My primary "goal" was to visit Carbisdale Castle, which is just a short distance over the water, and just 15 minutes by car. Not only did I accomplish this, I also (re)visited several very picturesque sites within 20 or so milRead morees, and was invited by the landlord to their dressage stables to see their operation first-hand. I was made very welcome, and really enjoyed my stay. Hide
