Stay in this quirky converted bunkroom, set in the Scottish countryside with plenty to see and do nearby including a visit to the city of Perth or a walk or cycle through the Cairngorms National Park.

A whisky lover’s dream, this cosy converted bunkroom sits just outside pretty Pitlochry. Sleeping two in a cosy mezzanine area, it is ideal as a romantic hideaway in this beautiful part of Perthshire.

The property is in two parts, with the cosy timber bunkroom forming the living and sleeping area, and the charming stone-built kitchen and wet room just across the courtyard. With quirky nods to the property’s whisky heritage dotted around, the bunkroom’s wooden interior is cosy and welcoming.

Stepping into the bunkroom, you come into the bijou living area, with a comfy corner sofa (that can be made into a sofa bed), perfect for relaxing in the evening in front of the glowing wood burner. Pour yourself a glass of Edradour and sit back in front of a film before heading up the ladder to the enticing mezzanine sleeping area, where the zip-and-link king-size bed can be made into two singles if required. In the morning, head back down and across the private courtyard to the well-equipped kitchen. The handy breakfast bar is the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee, or on a warm day, sit out on the patio or take a dip in the hot tub and enjoy the sunshine. After breakfast, enjoy a hot shower in the smart, contemporary wet room before heading out for the day.

Outside, the sheltered patio area has plenty of comfortable seating around a chiminea for keeping warm on chilly evenings. A charcoal BBQ offers opportunities for al fresco dining – the perfect way to round off a day in the fresh air.

  • 1 bedroom – super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request)

Absolutely gorgeous and so remote! Very compact but just what you want in the middle of winter. The room took no time at all to heat up! First time using a log burner hot tub and I hope its not my last! The water is fresh and locally sourced. Meaning its brown and not like usual hottubs but this was no issue for us. Once you are in with the bubblesRead more on, it great! This place will always have a place in my heart as my partner proposed to me here! Couldnt think of a more perfect place! Hide

The cabin was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay whilst we were there. I booked the trip as a 30th birthday present for my partner and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful time from start to finish. The surrounding area was beautiful.

Lovely quirky cottage in a great location, particularly liked being able to walk our dog straight out into countryside & woodland. Kitchen is very compact but has the essentials. Really enjoyed the hot tub, you need to light it a good 2-3 hours before you get in, especially for the first dip. Would stay here again.

Mezzanine bed not suitable for people of a certain age, although the sofa bed is comfortable...the hottub area is excellent. We loved the isolation and it was perfect for our dog. It Would be more convenient if the toilet was attached to the accommodation.
