With the famous course at Gleneagles nearby (15 miles), this is a wonderful base for keen golfers, and there are also plenty of opportunities for anglers to catch salmon or trout along the River Tay. The property offers fresh, cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests and is in a great location for making the most of the spectacular Perthshire countryside.

This lovely, bright and cheerful holiday home has been attractively decorated and simply furnished, making this a fantastic getaway for all the family. The property features a cosy wood burner and a breezy outdoor seating area on the patio. On stepping into this delightful and inviting property you will find the warm and friendly lounge which makes a great space to relax in. With TV/DVD, a traditional wood burner and plenty of comfortable seating, you can sit back and enjoy the evening as you catch up with a movie or a good book, or chat about the day’s adventures. The stylishly designed kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare your favourite meals. The charming dining area is perfect whether you’re sharing a special family meal or grabbing a snack, and the farmhouse-style kitchen is a pleasure to cook in.

Exploring this relaxing cottage further, you will find the four beautifully decorated bedrooms. There are two pretty king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (one with a TV) which can be made up as twin rooms on request. There’s also a twin bedroom with views across the garden, and the master king-size bedroom with a TV, an en-suite shower room and French doors leading directly into the garden. The cottage also features a stylish family bathroom complete with a bath and separate shower.

Heading outside, you will find the large enclosed front garden and the mature enclosed back garden which is a perfect space for children to play and for dogs to run about. Adults can sit back on the outdoor furniture on the patio and treat themselves to a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. This is a fabulous spot to simply unwind, enjoy an al fresco meal or spend the night star gazing.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The thriving and historic Fair City of Perth (5.5 miles), for five centuries the capital of Scotland, lies on the banks of the River Tay, and offers a variety of independent shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, weekend markets, art galleries, and museums. The city is home to numerous attractions including Perth Museum and Art Gallery, the Fair Maid's House, the Black Watch Museum, Perth Playhouse, St Ninians Cathedral, Huntingtower Castle and the popular Perth Racecourse.

Historic attractions nearby include Scone Palace (7 miles), St Serf's Church and Dupplin Cross (8.5 miles), Stanley Mills (8.5 miles) and Elcho Castle (10 miles). Golfers have a choice of courses with Crieff (13.5 miles), North Inch (5.5 miles) and the famous course at Gleneagles (15.5 miles) all within easy reach. Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park (6.5 miles) is home to a beautiful arboretum and is a perfect spot for walkers, with chances to see roe deer. A beautiful, comfortable, welcoming cottage of an exceedingly high standard. Everything has been thought of. From the welcoming flowers on the hall table and the lights turned on it was just superb.
