With the famous course at Gleneagles nearby (15 miles), this is a wonderful base for keen golfers, and there are also plenty of opportunities for anglers to catch salmon or trout along the River Tay. The property offers fresh, cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests and is in a great location for making the most of the spectacular Perthshire countryside.

This lovely, bright and cheerful holiday home has been attractively decorated and simply furnished, making this a fantastic getaway for all the family. The property features a cosy wood burner and a breezy outdoor seating area on the patio. Enjoying a fantastic secluded location, this wonderful, spacious house provides a delightful backdrop to your holiday.

On stepping into this delightful and inviting property you will find the warm and friendly lounge which makes a great space to relax in. With TV/DVD, a traditional wood burner and plenty of comfortable seating, you can sit back and enjoy the evening as you catch up with a movie or a good book, or chat about the day’s adventures. The stylishly designed kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare your favourite meals. The charming dining area is perfect whether you’re sharing a special family meal or grabbing a snack, and the farmhouse-style kitchen is a pleasure to cook in.

Exploring this relaxing cottage further, you will find the four beautifully decorated bedrooms. There are two pretty king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (one with a TV) which can be made up as twin rooms on request. There’s also a twin bedroom with views across the garden, and the master king-size bedroom with a TV, an en-suite shower room and French doors leading directly into the garden. The cottage also features a stylish family bathroom complete with a bath and separate shower.

Heading outside, you will find the large enclosed front garden and the mature enclosed back garden which is a perfect space for children to play and for dogs to run about. Adults can sit back on the outdoor furniture on the patio and treat themselves to a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. This is a fabulous spot to simply unwind, enjoy an al fresco meal or spend the night star gazing.

The property makes a great base for discovering the Perthshire countryside, with fantastic walks and a range of activities to take part in including cycling, angling, golf and water sports.

The thriving and historic Fair City of Perth (5.5 miles), for five centuries the capital of Scotland, lies on the banks of the River Tay, and offers a variety of independent shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, weekend markets, art galleries, and museums. The city is home to numerous attractions including Perth Museum and Art Gallery, the Fair Maid's House, the Black Watch Museum, Perth Playhouse, St Ninians Cathedral, Huntingtower Castle and the popular Perth Racecourse.

Historic attractions nearby include Scone Palace (7 miles), St Serf's Church and Dupplin Cross (8.5 miles), Stanley Mills (8.5 miles) and Elcho Castle (10 miles). Golfers have a choice of courses with Crieff (13.5 miles), North Inch (5.5 miles) and the famous course at Gleneagles (15.5 miles) all within easy reach. Fabulous, very high standard of furnishings , everything spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated - had intended eating out but were too comfortable in accommodation decided not to . Outdoor seating area and enclosed garden was great especially with a pet or children. Owner very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a lovely break at West Powbridge. Beautiful house and garden, full of everything needed for a relaxing time. Furnishings are very comfortable, house was really clean and plenty of storage space. Delicious welcome pack greeted us in the kitchen and Lynsey had plenty recommendations for us regarding grocery shopping and local eaterRead moreies. The property is absolutely outstanding in every way. The detail of the furnishings is just perfect, each bedroom has a cosey, homely and styled look. Beautiful accommodation. Helpful owners. So well equipped and everything was to a high standard . Its deserves the 5 star rating. Great base to explore the area but lots of driving involved in doing so. Scotland was stunning!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. We have just returned from a very sunny week in this 1st class cottage. The owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Although the cost of the cottage is on the expensive side you can tell from the attention to detail inside where youre money is going. This cottage is a gem. It's nicely decorated and fully equipped. The location was ideal for us; in the countryside yet 10 minutes away from Perth and within walking distance of a farm shop and excellent tea room. The owner is also very friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Beautiful cottage! Well designed and thought through. Loved coming back from a Autumnal walk, lighting the fire and snuggling in for the evening after have a home cooked meal made in the well equipped kitchen. Also loved sitting outside in the shelter having breakfast or just lying back in it with the festoon lights on and listening to the rain. WeRead morent on an incredible drive through Glen Almond and Glen Quaich. A drive that we knew nothing about until Lynsey told us about it! Hide

Beautifully decorated cottage, child and dog friendly. Excellent communication from owner, whom is so welcoming and helpful. Could not fault a single thing, the attention to detail is fabulous! Everything was so clean and well presented. We will definitely be booking up again.

The cottage was perfect for our family Christmas. Its location was quite magical. On Christmas Eve two deer stood just outside the fence gazing into the kitchen. A very pretty cottage and comfortable too. I am sure we will be back again.
