Situated in a peaceful and tranquil part of Angus, this delightful family home enjoys spectacular panoramic views of the Grampian Mountains. Two coastal towns, Carnoustie and Arbroath, are located within 8 miles, so you have easy access to plenty of amenities including delicious meals out and convenient shops. Sleeping six over three bedrooms, this lovely property is in a great location for a family getaway with fun activities and picturesque scenery all around.


This lovely single-storey holiday home has been fully equipped and perfectly appointed for your stay. Wooden floors and calm neutral colours, together with some nice antique furnishings, capture the country charm and give this place plenty of character. Plenty of large windows make the rooms feel light and fresh, as well as providing scenic views of the endless open fields beyond.


Upon entering this property you will find yourself in a spacious and thoughtfully decorated lounge. Sink back into the comfortable sofa in front of the wood burner effect gas fire and put on a DVD for the family to watch. Moving on into the dining room, you’ll find a table seating six along with delightful views of the garden. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, which has plenty of surface space as well as all the facilities you may need. Three bedrooms are also on the ground floor, starting with a lovely four-poster bedroom. This comfortable bed and tranquil views ensure a good night of rest. The final two bedrooms both with lovely attention to detail, are also on this floor with one super-king-size zip-and-link and one twin zip-and-link. Finally we come to the stylish bathrooms one of which has a freestanding bath and a separate shower, and the other which has a shower.


Outside you’ll find a lovely enclosed garden with a summer house perfect for some quiet reading, and a seating area on the patio for a spot of al fresco dining.


Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This single-storey cottage is perfectly situated within reach of the Angus coastline, with miles of coastal paths that cover sandy beaches and rugged cliffs as well as spectacular ocean views. The nearest beach is 5 miles away in the lovely town of Carnoustie. Head down to the sandy shores and enjoy a picnic or take a dip in the sea.

Other great waking opportunities lie close by, such as Crombie Country Park which is just 1 mile away and has scenic walking routes through the woodlands by Crombie Loch. Alternatively you could take a trip to Monikie Country Park, which boasts a variety of activities from canoeing and windsurfing to rafting and even a zip line. Monikie also has some lovely eateries to visit, and a reservoir that is ideal for a quiet afternoon walk.

For a cultural experience, Dundee is close at hand just 12 miles away. Here there are excellent eateries and shopping facilities, as well as a plethora of fascinating places to visit such as the V&A, Brought Castle and Museum, a wildlife centre and a selection of country parks to explore.

Further afield lies the Cairngorms National Park and the Grampian Mountains. Spend a day hiking in these incredible landscapes and appreciate the beauty of the Highlands.

This house is beautiful, clean and modern. Well equipped and in a lovely location. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

Do something with the en-suite, change the mattress, provide two keys, make sure the outside lights work as it is total darkness.
