Explore the Lost Valley (Coire Gabhail)

If you didn’t know already, Coire Gabhail is a hidden valley where Clan MacDonald hid their precious cattle. The hike takes you into a secret valley surrounded by steep cliffs where the paths are thin and windy – there is some mild scrambling required. It’s a relatively easy but scenic walk over dramatic terrain, with a rewarding view at the end which is always a welcomed prize.
Please note – if conditions are snowy, we do not advise you take this walk on unless you are experienced in winter mountaineering.
