Luxury cottages for winter breaks in Scotland

Jemima Kirkwood 23 October 2019

Admire our range of luxury cottages for a Scottish winter break.

Scotland lends itself well to those romantic ideas we all have around Christmas and the winter holiday season: crisp chilly days, frost-dusted landscapes, cosy pubs, festive markets, brass bands, long dark nights, outdoor adventures and if we are lucky – snow. Throughout November and December, autumn continues to spread its layers of gold and auburn across the landscape, the sun rises later and the nights draw closer. Winter is coming.

Whilst the countryside goes through its changes, so do we. Gone are the feelings of needing to be outside after a day’s work; instead, a warm place is required to cosy down with a good book, a glass of wine or a Netflix binge! This goes for our holiday time too and our needs change from seeking a house with plentiful outdoor seating and a coastline setting to a cosy nest where we can warm the toes after a chilly day out.

Whether you are looking to go away as a couple, a group of friends or with your family, there is bound to be something in this selection of luxury holiday homes that will suit you for your next winter holiday in Scotland.
