There’s no end of entertainment at this pretty Victorian holiday home, with a private shoreline, boathouse, garden, hot tub, games cabin, and more. It’s a place for all ages to enjoy.

Stay in true luxury at this lochside location, where everything is decorated to the highest standard and top-quality appliances are in abundance throughout. Guests of all ages will want for nothing with a stay in this grand home, and the property is perfectly set out for a family of ten. Young children and older teenagers will all be kept entertained, whilst the adults can enjoy a glass of Scottish whisky in the hot tub.

The home boasts an impeccable decor throughout, with each room adopting a unique theme and colour scheme. Many of the rooms have been decorated with elegant wallpaper, perfectly contrasted with bright splashes of colour. The thoroughly modern home is interspersed with small celebrations of Scottish culture, such as tartan furnishings or mounted deer horns, a reminder of your rural Argyll location.

The heart of the home can be found on the ground floor, in the open-plan kitchen and dining room. To one side, you have a well-equipped kitchen with American-style fridge/freezer, traditional country Aga and even a bread maker for fresh morning baking. To the other side of the room, you can settle at the spacious dining table and enjoy far-reaching views across the loch. Alternatively, more casual breakfasts can be enjoyed in the garden room, also offering wonderful views of the water. Two opulent rooms are perfect for watching TV and relaxing. The first is a traditional drawing room with a wood burner and French doors leading to the garden room, whilst the second is a family room with huge cushy sofas. Both have Sky TV with sports packages included.

All five bedrooms can be found upstairs, and the elevated position ensures each room offers a mesmerising view of the surrounding scenery. The master bedroom is a spacious king-size with a luxury dressing room. Two of the bedrooms benefit from zip-and-link beds, making them either twin or king-size rooms, and one has a Juliet balcony accessible through French doors. Every bathroom in the house has been renovated to the highest standard and is well-equipped with local hand soaps and shampoos.

This home excels both indoors and out, and plenty of enjoyment can be found outdoors in the summer months. An enclosed garden area is ideal for allowing children to play; a fun fort and five-a-side football goals will keep the young ones entertained for hours. Older kids will love the games cabin featuring a pool table, football table, dartboard, jukebox, 75 inch LED TV, WiFi, retro arcade games machine with over 3000 games and the private hot tub will no doubt be a big hit with every guest. Please note there is a burn and small pond within the garden; young children must be supervised.

What an exceptional property this is! Such attention to detail means everything was of the highest standard and beautifully presented. The location was so tranquil and yet two short walks took you to either a fantastic gastro pub, The Kilkrennan Inn or an equally great hotel, The Taychreggan; this hotel has previously won Britain's Most Romantic veRead morenue! The owners were very helpful and we would confidently recommend this property. We have great memories from our trip, a very happy holiday! Hide
