Borenich is a 19th century, stone-built farmhouse situated above Loch Tummel and enjoys the most stunning views of the far side of this gorgeous loch. This spacious farmhouse is just perfect for families, and the glorious garden with the added bonus of access to the loch (via a short walk through the fields) will be a delight.

This welcoming cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for your self-catering holiday - this owner has thought of everything. The AGA along with the open fire gives the whole house the most wonderful ambience. The kitchen is the hub of the house with its picture window, dining table for 6 and the comforting warmth of the AGA. The bright and spacious sitting room with its open fire and TV is ideal for a catch up at the end of the day and the lovely wee snug is perfect for a bit of quiet ‘me’ time, watching a film or enjoying the numerous board games left for you to enjoy. The bedrooms are all on the upper floor. The front rooms are light and bright and have the same wonderful views; and who needs an alarm clock when you have nature’s own, the dawn chorus. The twin room is at the back of the house and has a children’s theme.

You will be spoiled for choice on your days out and things to do. The Queen’s View is on your door step. A must is a visit to the House of Bruar - only 20 minutes away. Pitlochry is just 7 miles away with its theatre (advisable to book as seats sell out very fast), hotels and shops. Dunkeld is another lovely Scottish town and of course famous for its annual visitors: the Ospreys at Loch of the Lowes. To the south, the fair city of Perth, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow and to the north, Aviemore and the Highland Capital, Inverness – are all fine days out. The outdoor enthusiast will be spoiled for choice - walking from the door, cycling, golf and much more.

    Mr Ratzsch - August 2018
This house has ample room, and excellent equipment. It's more than any average holiday let, and feels like a much-loved family home with high quality fittings and super amount of extras from cooking utensils, books, spare bedding - and the Aga keeps the house feeling warm and cosy. It's also set in a substantial private garden, sloping towards Loch Tummel, with gates making it an easy walk through a couple of fields and some woodland. The loch has beaches and is good for swimming if you can brave the cool water. It was a privilege to stay in such a comfortable home, where it is obvious much care and attention has been lavished. Thank you.
    Mr Bull - July 2018
It’s hard to describe the charm of this house and location. The rural setting offers a respite from the world, yet it’s only a few miles from all that Pitlochry has to offer. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, from the kitchen utensils to the games, cds and more around each room.
Ms Dowling Brice - June 2018
We booked a long weekend. The house was immaculately presented and very warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a retreat to the country with none of the modern day distraction this is the perfect place to go. The owner has left everything possible that you may need during your stay.
    Mrs Bell - May 2018
During our 5 years here in the UK, we've rented a number of homes and this was our family's favorite--by far! We loved the views from the back, how well-appointed the entire house was and especially the kitchen, and having two separate TV/sitting areas. The home was so comfortable, we could have just hung around home all week---but we made ourselves get out and enjoy the beauty of the region. The landlord was incredibly helpful too, and a wonderful bottle of red wine awaited us. Highly recommend.
    Mr Puckett - March 2018
The house is spacious and very cosy. The Aga keeps the kitchen warm and there is a great food at the Inn a mile down the road. We went for a few walks around the area and then travelled the region as it's just on the edge of the Cairngorms. Would definitely make a return trip some day.
