    Broombank reviews
Broombank is a lovely, clean, warm and comfortable cottage with friendly and helpful owners. We were left some fresh farm eggs and other basic items of shopping. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. It is well situated for visiting Inverness, the Great Glen way and the Moray coast.
Owners Response: "Thank you for your favourable Review. We are delighted that you all enjoyed your stay at Broombank Cottage."
    Mrs Clark - March 2019
Group of us had a excellent stay at Broombank, cottage was perfect and suited our needs. Owners really friendly and helpful.
    Mr Chetwynd - January 2019
The cottage is situated in a lovely rural location with easy access to the city of Inverness. Ideal as a base for visiting the local tourist sites, for example the Culloden battlefield, Fort George and the dolphins at Chanonry Point on the Black Isle. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. Whilst the cottage is several minutes by car from the nearest local amenities the visit by a local fish and chip van to the caravan site next door provided a very good option for tea. The local pub The Culloden Moor Inn was also an excellent venue for meals just a few minutes away by car and well worth a visit.
    Mr Eden - June 2018
We had a wonderful 4 night break with our two very young sons at broombank. Such a homely, spacious cottage with all you need. Our boys loved the chickens and you couldn’t hear the cockerels from the bedrooms which is great. We visited some great places. The playful garden at Brodie castle, Logie Steading, whin Park and Inverness centre.
    Mrs Handley - May 2018
We had a wonderful short break in Broombank cottage, The owners could not have made us feel any more welcome. We had fresh eggs (from the chickens out the back) and milk in the fridge waiting for us. The cottage is fantastic, plenty of room and fully fitted with everything you could ask for. We highly recommend it.
Owners Response: "Thank you for your kind comments and Review for Broombank Cottage. It was an absolute pleasure to have you stay in the cottage and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit to the area."
    Ms Arnott - April 2018
We had a fantastic stay at Broombank with our 2 young kids. The owner met us as we arrived and showed us around. The cottage is well equipped for younger guests with a cot, high chair and stair gates which made our packing a lot easier. Due to the time of year we spent most of the afternoons indoors. This wasn’t a problem as there was plenty of space for us to play about and a good central heating system kept us warm despite the snow falling outside! The location is great for exploring local attractions. Culloden battlefield and the Clava cairns were excellent and Inverness was only a short drive away and had plenty to offer for the kids. For runners, there was also plenty of km’s of nice forest trails to explore right from the doorstep too! Hopefully we will be back at Broombank in the future
Owners Response: "Thank you for your Review following your recent stay at Broombank Cottage. It was a pleasure having you and your family to stay. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit and that the cottage was up to expectations."
    Mr Marshall - November 2017
What a lovely cottage this is! Spacious, clean and cosy. Such an amazing location! Not only a beautiful view from the porch (!) but also ideal for exploring the Highlands and the beautiful coast. E.g. Culloden Battlefield is only a few minutes by car. Everything you need for a fantastic stay! What makes it even more special are Carolyn and Donald. The gave us a very warm welcome, were very friendly and gave us great tips on what to see. We hope to return someday!

    Mr New - May 2016
First time we have booked a house/cottage to stay in,but now won't be the last! Broombank was immaturely clean+had everything we could possibly need. Very welcoming eggs+milk in fridge on arrival+the lovely owners were even shovelling snow from our pathway one morning-very thoughtful.
    Mrs Rollinson - January 2015
Great accommodation, and very convenient location for exploring the local area and trips into Inverness
    Dr Clancy - December 2014
Lovely holiday being lucky with the weather and house ideal.
    Mrs Lawes - August 2014
We had a fantastic time at Broombank-the cottage was superb and of a very high standard. It was very spacious and well equipped-we all loved it, including our kids who are aged 6 and 9. It was very quiet and peaceful and the owners were lovely. We were very well positioned for travelling to Loch Ness, Aviemore, Inverness and Nairn. As a family we particularly enjoyed going up Cairngorm on the train, visiting Loch Ness, watching the dolphins and seals in the Moray Firth, and Landmark Forest Adventure Park. We haven't ever been anywhere twice but we are seriously considering coming back here! A lovely holiday!
Owners Response: "Thank you Mr & Mrs Staley for your kind and supportive comments. It is so nice to know that our efforts are appreciated and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit to the Highlands."
    Mrs Staley - August 2014
We had a great week ,the cottage had everything we required and more. There is lots to do and see in the area with the Cairngorms being less than an hour away and dolphins and ospreys can been seen at Spey Bay.

Beautiful Cottage with a stunning view. Plenty of room for us( 4 adults and 2 children). Lovely welcome from owner. Ideal for Inverness, the Airport and Nairn. The fresh eggs were a bonus. Many thanks for making it a stunning holiday.

Great spot. Lovely spacious, well appointed building, in an authentic setting within its community. Owners are locals and are very knowledgable of the area. Fresh home laid eggs were very enjoyable. Cheers.
