    Capo Farmhouse reviews
Capo farmhouse was a very homely and comfortable house! We visited many areas , here especially Stonehaven and Dunnotar Castle. We also visited Pennan a picturesque village on the coast - loads of atmosphere and natural beauty - Unfortunately the small pub was closed - so no lunch there that day. Capo farmhouse was always good to come back to. Thanks to Caroline we became aware of local attractions. We visited the old hotel in Edzel and experienced an extremely friendly receptionist and bar man.Their whiskey choice is the second largest in Scotland ! There is also a “cafe” on the corner on the main road in Edzel - good coffee and VERY good cakes - and a good choice of arts and crafts. Unfortunately I Cannot remember the name of the cafe - but am sure Caroline can! Lovelywalk through the “ blue door” in Edzel - recommendation from the staff at the hotel. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back to Scotland. Other places of interest for us were Banchory, Balmoral Castle

Capo farmhouse is nicely located with plenty of place to visit close by, Very children/baby and dog friendly. This property is well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The owners mum Margaret was very helpful and sent an email prior to us staying, pointing out a few places to visit, and where the local farm shop was located. very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Had a relaxing time.

We had a great week in Capo farmhouse, a superb house perfect for a large group with an especially well equipped kitchen, one of the best self catering places we have stayed in. Very sociable kitchen/dining room. Wonderful location yet accessible, close to some fantastic beaches and good castles! Good for families and dogs. Couldnt fault it in any way. And very helpful landlord.

Fantastic farmhouse in a very peaceful setting. Perfect for walks in the woods or down by the river straight from the front door. Dog heaven! Also great for entertaining, fabulous open kitchen with a large family table but with a cosy living room and wood stove. The Swan in Brechin is great for Indian takeout. Would definitely recommend this cottage and would certainly visit again.

We had a lovely week at Capo Farmhouse. Its perfect for a very relaxing break. The views are beautiful and our little girls loved playing on the lawn and watching all the wildlife, and our dog loved chasing the rabbits and running around Capo Woods! Mrs Milne and her daughter were very helpful and welcoming and recommended the beautiful beach at St Cyrus. Thanks again. Emma and Bernd Schmidt.

A lovely House that we could take Two dogs on holiday with us. the situation was just right for dog walks from the door and easy access to sea and glens for us to explore this interesting part of Scotland.
