Coruanan Estate is set in a stunning location near to Fort William and has two spectacular Scottish Highland farmhouses available for self catering holidays. Both houses are set in totally private and tranquil locations a mile apart from each other. Although remote, this beautiful estate is only three miles from Fort William, making these two self catering holiday cottages perfect for exploring the heart of Scotland and all it has to offer.

Coruanan Farmhouse sleeps 6 and offers magnificent views directly onto Ben Nevis, the surrounding hills and loch. Druimarbin Farmhouse sleeps 7 and faces due west with superb views over Loch Linnhe to the mountains of Ardgour and beyond.

Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Coruanan is a well presented comfortable farmhouse quietly nestling in the foothills of the stunning and mighty Ben Nevis. Set on a secluded, private estate close to Fort William, this traditionally built highland holiday home has been renovated and furnished to the highest standard and commands spectacular views of Ben Nevis.

Decorated with furnishings chosen to blend in well with its traditional surroundings, you will always look forward to returning home after a day exploring this beautiful and dramatic part of Scotland. Great care has been taken to create a home from home with deep comfortable sofas and a welcoming log fire in the sitting room. The fully equipped kitchen/dining room is bright and spacious and there are three charming twin bedrooms (two en-suite).

For those wishing to escape to the magic of the Scottish Highlands with its stunning scenery, lochs, mountains, waterfalls and important history, Coruanan has it all. The location is spectacular and the activities available in the area are many. From the doorstep you can set off for day long walks up into the hills or just relax and enjoy the wonderful panoramic views of Ben Nevis, Loch Linnhe and the glens beyond.

Coruanan is truly a holiday house for all seasons. Long summer evenings bring beautiful sunsets over the loch and mountains; the falling autumn leaves are accompanied by the magnificent sound of stags roaring in the glen; the crisp frost of winter lends a bright, crystal clear mantle and in spring the hills burst into life as the wild flowers emerge and the dawn chorus is heard once again.

    Coruanan Farmhouse reviews
Isolated. Great views, clean and well equipped, spacious for 6, but not luxury. Wifi surprisingly good considering the location. 10 to 15 minutes drive to Fort William where there is all the usual stuff, supermarkets pubs etc.
    Mr Perrin - April 2017
The Coruanan Farmhouse setting is wonderful, with a view of a Loch on one side and Ben Nevis on the other. The pictures on the website do not do it justice - it is much nicer than this. The house is in excellent condition and is modern and comfortable. It is all very relaxed and low-key, without hectoring instructions everywhere which can be the case in rentals.
    Mr Elers - April 2017
This house is located in a great location, especially if you have a dog. Walks on the estate are lovely. The house has everything needed for using as a base to enjoy everything the area has to offer or, as somewhere to simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

    Mr Norris - May 2015
    - nice house to stay, adorable quiet environment, away from internet.. - magnificent views on the mountains - house large enough for 6 persons. - warm water supply for shower downstairs could be improved, it didn't work immediately again when somebody elase did take a shower. - maybe provide some insect screens for the windows so they could be opened without being subject to uninvited guests. - at 3 miles a very good spot is available for fishing. - enough possibilities for nice country walks.
Mr Van Aart - July 2014
Location was very Peaceful, Property was well laid out and spacious. All facilities were modern and well maintained.
    Mr Cropper - June 2014
The well-furnished Cottage is located at a very prominent but outlaying location with almost private view to Ben Nevis (as fare it is visible). We spent a nice week in this quiet house. When we come to Fort William again, we will look for this house again.
    Mr Sauer - July 2013
An excellent house in an excellent location. The only problems were the two upstairs shower attachments. Both are of the silly sit in the bath and hold the attachment variety. The shower attachments should have been attached to the wall and supplied with shower curtains, so you can stand up and have a proper shower. Other than that, no problems.
    Mr Patterson - May 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. It is very private but not that far from Fort William so great facilities nearby. We went mountain biking, hill walking and ice climbing in summer! The house is roomy and well kitted out. It was a great holiday.
