Description

An exceptional detached barn conversion that has been beautifully built and furnished, Dignity is a delight in every way. This self catering holiday house has been named after a famous and valuable ram that was bred by the family who have farmed here for 6 generations.

Dignity has been furnished with understated style from the slate or wood floors, underfloor heating to the drystone dyke walls surrounding and the fabulous Anta soft furnishings. It is spacious and appealing and perfect for those with a discerning eye who enjoy luxury and comfort. There is a splendid open plan kitchen with granite surfaces leading into the dining/sitting room with a wood burning stove and the most delightful views across the hills. The addition of a second lovely lounge/music room is a great asset for family groups.  The bedrooms are welcoming and luxurious with crisp white linen over memory foam mattresses that guarantee a comfy night’s sleep.

A garden gives you a quiet area to enjoy the peace and beauty of the borders and with 2000 acres of fields and hills, you will have all the space you need. Nearby is the village of Clovenfords with its pub and you are within easy reach of all the Borders towns. The farm has a loch where you can fish for wild brown trout and of course the famous Tweed is a mere 2 miles away for those who enjoy salmon fishing. This is a really wonderful large holiday house that you cannot fail to enjoy. For larger parties there is a second equally delightful property, Time, within walking distance.

5 x 50+ mountain bikers up in the Borders to enjoy the great riding in the Tweed Valley. Dignity turned out to be the perfect base to explore from and return to after a full day out in the hills. The hot tub was a relaxing end to the day and the house itself was very comfortable and a great place to unwind in the evening. Thanks for the welcome cake too! Highly recommended. :-)
    Mr Hewitt - May 2018
This was our second time at Dignity. Once again we all had a lovely time in a beautiful house. Absolutely everything is catered for and to the highest standard. We had lots of snow this year and the children were able to enjoy sledging. The house was really cosy with the wood burner being lit in the evening. We didn't need to venture far as we were all very happy relaxing but when we did we enjoyed the surrounding countryside. The children enjoyed their afternoon swimming at Peebles and Peter Rabbit on the cinema in Galashiels was a great hit. Hopefully we will return next year and enjoy being in such a lovely house. Liz's welcome cake is just a delight and very much enjoyed by all, thank you.
    Mrs Mathers - March 2018
Dignity is a beautiful house and very well equipped for everyone's needs. It is completely surrounded by beautiful scenery and is very ideallic. Our host was very welcoming and generous. We couldn't recommend it highly enough, whether it be for a break with family or friends. We will definitely be back.
    Mrs Mathison - November 2017
Super property, fantastic design both structurally and furnishings, very, very comfortable and relaxing with plenty of space. Not the biggest of garden spaces by any means and in close proximity to 2 other properties but laid out in such a manner that it felt isolated with no overlooking and very private. Great location with great walks close by and plenty of villages and towns but a relatively short distance away. Every amenity provided and very friendly, helpful owner. Faultless!
    Mr Attrill - August 2013
The weather was awful, the property delightful
