If you want to see Scotland in all of its stunning glory, then book a holiday at Eas Mor on the Isle of Skye. Situated in Lower Milovaig on top of a cliff that overlooks the sea, the property boasts spectacular panoramic views of the Outer Hebrides. Eas Mor - or ‘big water’ – is named after the beautiful waterfall ‘Eas Aboist’ that can be seen across the water on the Dunvegan head of the island. The property has been furnished to a high quality standard, with a great kitchen area complete with numerous cook books to help release your inner chef. The stylish living area has been furnished with luxuriously comfortable sofas - you are bound to look forward to curling up here at the end of a busy day in front of the stove, watching the sun set over the hills. The large French windows to the front of Eas Mor are perfect for bird watching, whale spotting or simply for admiring the Scottish landscape.

Eas Mor can also be let with Ard Meanish, located closer to the shore. Ard Meanish sleeps six adults and one child, ideal for larger parties of 10 adults and one child. Booking both properties together is ideal for larger families that have grown up children, or for grandparents that require their own space.

This area of Skye is the ideal place to spend your Scottish holiday. Glendale and nearby Dunvegan is the host to many cafes and restaurants – including Michelin star restaurant The Three Chimneys which is just  a short drive away. A stay in Glendale would not be complete without a walk to Neist Point Lighthouse, where you can see for miles across the sea towards the islands. Dunvegan Castle and Gardens is another must, where you can learn all about the famous Clan MacLeod and take a boat trip out to see to spot some seals.

All on one level:

Sitting room/dining/kitchen, 1 double bedroom with ensuite bath with shower over, WC & WHB, 1 twin bedroom, bathroom: shower, bath, WC & WHB.

    Eas Mor reviews
very nice house, and very nice place
    Mr Talbot - August 2018
Eas Mor is a new cottage which has been furnished and equipped to a high standard, and has fabulous views. We felt very comfortable there and slept well, the bed, pillows, etc were lovely. Even during the strong winds of Storm Hector, the cottage felt very snug and secure. It was wonderful to see Red Deer wandering by the cottage at dusk. During our stay:- we enjoyed the walk to Coral Beach; had a fabulous lunch at the Three Chimneys in Colbost (need to book); lovely cake in the Cafe Lephin; shopped in Glendale General Store (it is like a Tardis, much bigger inside than it looks); bought some jewellery in Skye Silver; visited the Skye Makers Gallery in Dunvegan to see work by local artists/artisans; enjoyed the views on the drive down to Sligachan where we had lunch in Seamus' Bar.
    Mr Atkinson - June 2018
Great cottage with lovely views. Very comfortable stay for 4 adults. Only 1 negative and that was no access to outdoor waste bins! Recycling bin was full when we arrived and during the week a note was left by council operatives saying that the bucket would not be emptied as there was no contract to do so! No general waste bucket there either. No great problem for us as we had the trailer so we took it all home and disposed of it!
    Mrs Cutler - June 2018
Eas Mor is a really well appointed, spacious, modern cottage in a very small village on the coast in the north west of Skye. It has fabulous views, is not overlooked and is a great base for exploring the island whilst getting some solitude, peace and quiet. We would highly recommend it and definitely book it again on our next visit to Skye.
    Mr Rawlings - September 2017
Very clean and modern house with a stunning view, we didn't have very good weather so it's really important to have comfortable accommodation. Glendale itself only has one shop and one cafe, so I would recommend bringing supplies! Overall very pleased.
    Mrs Perry - September 2017
We found the cottage to be modern, practical and of a very high standard with spectacular views.
    Mr Isles - July 2017
