Take the dogs for a walk on some of the coastal paths or hike up one of the surrounding hills near Eastertown itself. Golfers are spoilt for choice here: many courses are within a two hour drive of the property, including Castle Stuart Links, Trump International Links and Duff House Royal to name a few. Dolphin watching on the Moray Firth is within easy reach and sailing and fishing is available nearby. For the more adventurous, surfing is popular with many, so grab your board and ride those waves! On your way home, don’t forget to stop for some home made ice cream in Portsoy! Being just a short drive from many coastal communities like Banff, Sandend and Lossiemouth, you will have a chance to explore the historic harbours and long sandy beaches of The Coast Trail. For those with a taste for whisky, try following the Malt Whisky Trail and along the way sampling some of the areas fine local produce. A ride on the dog friendly Heritage Railway from Keith to Dufftown, the heart of Scottish Whisky production, is a great family outing.
