What a truly magical setting this delightful Scottish holiday home enjoys. Set in the charming Argyll village of Port Appin, Fasgadh has fabulous views across Loch Linnhe with the dramatic Morvern mountains as a backdrop. You will never tire of the amazing panoramic scenery, whatever the season.

Inside this deceptively spacious single-storey house the interiors are relaxed and comfortable with many homely touches. Light floods in through the large picture windows making the house bright and airy as well as perfectly framing the amazing views. The three, well-appointed bedrooms each has an en-suite shower room and the newly fitted kitchen has everything needed for a successful self-catering holiday. Glass doors from the large sitting room open on to decking creating the perfect setting for alfresco meals or relaxing with an evening glass of wine while marvelling at the crimson sky as the sun sets on the horizon – utterly magical.

In the early hours, deer can often be seen grazing close to the house and nothing beats watching the morning mist glide across the loch then clear to reveal such a perfect Scottish scene. A track will lead you down to the shoreline of this beautiful sea loch where many wonderful hours can be spent enjoying the long stretch of shingle and sand beach collecting shells and spotting the remarkable number of sea and coastal birds that gather here. Loch Linnhe and its shoreline is home to fabulous wildlife including otters, pine marten and red squirrels. Seals can often be seen sunbathing on the nearby rocks and if you are lucky you may even spot harbour porpoises, osprey and perhaps a golden or white-tailed eagle.

Port Appin is home to the famous Castle Stalker which sits on a small island just a short walk from Fasgadh and you can take the passenger ferry from the village across to the Isle of Lismore and enjoy all this beautiful island has to offer with its rich history and heritage. For those who enjoy fine dining, the local award-winning seafood restaurant is a gentle stroll along the shoreline. This area is paradise for those who love the outdoors with many magical walks and cycle routes right from the doorstep.
