A traditional shooting lodge that is treasured by many fisherman and stalkers alike, Glencalvie Lodge is nestled in the Sutherland countryside just 11 miles from Ardgay. Popular with guests who return year after year, the lodge is set in beautiful surroundings of flora and fauna, and boasts regular visits from ptarmigan, eagles and deer.

The Lodge itself feels welcoming throughout, and combines grand spaces with familiar comforts that make the most enjoyable stay. The formal dining room seats a maximum of 8 people, with more space in the less formal breakfast room for up to 16 people. The sitting room is delightfully cosy and contains an open fire, making it the perfect place to sit in the evenings with a dram in hand. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, some of which also have the addition of an ensuite bathroom which is ideal for large groups and families alike. Whether you are here for a family break, a special occasion, or for sporting, Glencalvie Lodge suits all types of groups.

Stretching across an exceptional 20,000 acres, the private estate is renowned in the Highlands for its sport. Sika, red and roe deer stalking is available between August and October, and fishing on both the Glencalvie and Gruinards beats is an exceptional location to catch salmon (both of which can be booked separately). Please also note that daily housekeeping is included within the price of your stay.
