With its long, beech tree driveway and stunning setting and gardens, the House of Glennie is beautiful and welcoming and is perfectly positioned in a secluded location on the banks of the River Deveron, one of Scotland's premier salmon rivers. The interiors are traditional, spacious and attractive and it has the relaxed feel of a family home.

The bedrooms are on the first floor and offer pretty views across the river and garden. There is a completely new kitchen, with breakfast area, that is a delight to cook in with its traditional Aga. There is also a fine dining room which seats up to 12 people.

The Deveron runs through the gardens and salmon fishing on this 1 mile beat is available for early bookings.

There are many activities to enjoy in the surrounding countryside – head north to enjoy the pretty Scottish fishing villages and beaches or west for Speyside with its whisky distilleries and castles. Whatever your preferred activity, this is a large holiday house that is well located and a pleasure to return to at the end of a full day.

    House of Glennie reviews
We enjoyed our stay at the House of Glennie and we were made most welcome from the housekeeper Aggie, who appeared every morning to ensure that we were comfortable and there were no problems. We also enjoyed sitting by the log fires which added to the whole experience. The river walks and the surrounding area, the red squirrels at the kitchen window and quietness made for a very relaxing family break. The general living space made it very comfortable for adults and children alike.
