    Inverbroom Lodge reviews
We absolutely loved our stay at Inverbroom Lodge. There is lots to see and do roundabout. The house is well equipped. Its shabby chique so perfect for a family stay with children. My only comment would be that your beds are far too high for small children and also it was very dissapointing that the swimming pool was not in use. Thank you
    Bruce - July 2019
A group of 17 of us had a fabulous holiday at Inverbroom Lodge. 8 ensuite bedrooms was luxury. As was the endless supply of hot water. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful surroundings.
    Mrs Stott - June 2019
The house is perfect for a large group, homely, comfortable, lots of en-suite and plenty of hot water. The kitchen has everything you need and plenty of space. We all enjoyed the walks around the estate, particularly the gorge walk where lots of hard work had made a beautiful valley accessible and watching lambs being born at all times of day and night was amazing. Further a field we enjoyed the cafe at Ullapool golf club for a quick snack, the pie shop at Lochinver for amazing pies and the pub at Badachro near Gairloch for the setting and the sea food.
    Mrs Jones - April 2019
Inverbroom Lodge was a perfect base for our walking holiday for a group of 18. The house is comfortable and well equipped for group self-catering, with plenty of great walking nearby, from epic mountain expeditions to low level loch side strolls. Plus easy access to the main road to explore further afield, and to visit Ullapool for shops, boat trips, etc. And the sun shone all week! We definitely want to go back!
    Mr Plummer - May 2018
A comfortable spacious house in a tranquil highland location. Plenty of en-suite bedrooms for 4 families with children. A DVD player would have been useful for the children. It was nice and warm with plenty of hot water. An enjoyable holiday was had by all.
    Dr Hares - April 2018
Group of 16 stag party ranging from 19 to 63 and catered for the whole group and house was set up with logs and everything for the full weekend and everyone had a great time (Snooker room was a hit with all) and ullapool is not far for shopping and a pub if needed.
    Mr Rankin - March 2018
Inverbroom Lodge is a good spot for a group gathering together. The mail lounge area is ideal for a large gathering with lovely coal fire and lot of chairs. The dining room was a little narrow but still okayfor a large group and the kitchen facilities are excellent and very cosy with the Aga. The bedrooms are plentiful, a bit old fashioned, with high beds and some variation in the condition of the bathrooms. Lots of extra storage rooms downstairs and a billiard room which we didn't use. As the visit was in November we were not able to make much use of the area around the house but it looked as though there would be good walking in the neighbourhood. The main disappointment was that there was no heating on for our arrival on a cold, wet, damp November afternoon and the heating timer did not seem to have been changed since the clocks had gone back.
    Mrs Scott - November 2017
Well equipped and comfortable large house. Easily accommodated 16 people in nine rooms. Good location with lots of challenging mountains and plenty of valley walks. Our cook found that some of the kitchen equipment was getting 'tired'.
    Mr Hill - May 2017
Excellent accommodation for our group of 15. Spacious and well equipped. Very good drying room. Comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Good water pressure in the showers. Large baths.
    Mr Vyas - April 2016
Well maintained property with good kitchen. Efficient drying room which is essential for hill walking in this area. lodge adequate for most activities and close to Ullapool where most things can be obtained. Pity about the cost of a pint in it's pubs!
    Mr Malone - May 2013
Spacious rooms and good views. Reasonably good access to Ullapool. Good servkice from gillies, very helpfull for info and taking us fishing. Housekeeper popped in most days for short time to hoover and make up fires - not sure what her duties were.
    Mr Goodinge - June 2012
A very well equiped lodge in good area for hill walking, Only complaint was the lack of hot water for 11 residents having said that, the weather was very cold for May, snowing some days. Tick me in for same week next year
