Nestled into the Perthshire hillside and overlooking Loch Tummel lies this true gem of a property, designed to make the very best of the glorious location and views it embraces. From the outside, its stylish exterior sets it apart from its surroundings to ensure it stands out and exudes quality. Once inside, the clever use of floor to ceiling windows throughout, blends any lines or boundaries you might see between you and the wilderness outdoors.

Situated all on one floor, this spacious open-plan property offers a simple, minimalistic interior with clean lines and modern-day furnishings. Leading off the living area are two large balconies, accessed through French doors that are responsible for the majority of light coming into this room. Although the property has been opened up to utilise and maximise its natural environment, it still manages to retain privacy from any passers by.

The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area is clean and fresh with wooden flooring and simple decoration throughout. The kitchen/dining area offers a spacious, social ambience, equipped with a cosy woodburner for gathering around with family and friends, on those chillier winter nights. The TV/snug zone provides an ideal and safe space for children to play in whilst you’re cooking dinner. The lovely and thoughtful addition of the boot room means that guests can remove and contain muddy boots, not having to worry about where they might end up!

Set within such a beautiful hillside location, this house makes the ideal family retreat. With two outside balconies overlooking the crystal clear waters of the loch and plenty of lawn space for children to run around in, this house offers friends and families a private and safe haven, overlooking some of the prettiest views in Perthshire.

Submerged between the banks of Loch Tummel and the Tay Forest Park, there are plenty of things to see and do whilst staying in this area of the Highland countryside. Tay Forest Park features some of Scotland's most loved and famous viewpoints, with miles of woodland trails packed full of wildlife and steeped in history telling stories of legends, dragons and demons that once lived in the forest.

Queen's View is one of the most photographed viewpoints in Scotland, overlooking Loch Tummel and beyond to Schiehallion. Once said to have been named after Queen Victoria's visit to the area in 1866, this spectacular spot is definitely worthy of a visit to appreciate the simply stunning views around.

Pitlochry (7 miles) is said to be one of Scotland's most pretty and lively places to visit, steeped in clan culture and Perthshire history. There is a vast variety on offer here in this beautiful town, from adrenaline sports like bungey jumping, quad biking and river rapids to the more leisurely activities such as a game of golf, hill walking, cycling or touring the many local eateries and distilleries.

Blair Castle and Gardens (12 miles) is home to the last remaining private army in Europe and sits boldly behind a nine-acre walled garden. The impressive, grand white castle walls make it easy to see through the treetops and it's packed full of Scottish culture and heritage with magnificent gardens to match.

Larach Beag is one of our favourite cottages. The location is rural but not remote, the house is beautifully laid out with space for peace or coming together and the view is priceless! The garden is great, our old dog was very safe. We did the outdoor bath twice (yes in feb!), our 5yr old daughter loved star gazing whilst having a soak.thats a lifeRead more memory. We will definitely be back. Thank you for another wonderful week. Hide

A perfect cottage for a restful week - spotless and comfortable. Just a pity the adjacent Tummel Inn was closed during the holiday season!

Enjoy the spectacular view and the wonderfully comfortable and well equipped house which is set in its own enclosed garden. The Scandinavian hot bath was worth the effort of lighting and with the dark night skies above, marvel at the cosmos. Truly magical.

The house is amazing, the views fantastic. The outdoor kitchen and bath are great. Forest walks nearby and Pitlochry is a lovely, busy town. The Inn next door does good food but is more like a wine bar, but well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Amazing location, and the view is even better in real life! Cosy cottage with really everything you need for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the large selection of board games during the rainy days. We loved our break at Larach Beag. The house was lovely, really comfortable, great garden and amazing views. Lots of opportunities for walks and sight seeing in the area too. Having the Inn next door meant you could have a night of cooking, and the food and service in the Inn was great. We would love to stay here again.

What a lovely property! While the cottage is slightly off the beaten track, the view of loch Tummel really made up for it, as well as the excellent pub next door. We loved using the garden and the indoor spaces were comfy and warm, as well as being well appointed for a family of four and dog. We wouldnt hesitate to return again.

Wonderful cottage and fabulous views. Electric panel heaters very effective. Kitchen very well equipped. We were unable to let our dog loose in the garden due to the new gate fitted having a large gap underneath that our cavalier king Charles spaniel could walk under.
