    Port an Eilean Cottage reviews
We had great holidays in a great location. The House was amazing with all things you need. It is not far away to Loch Tay or Pitlochry, to make sightseeing, go walking or play golf. We had a lot fun in the game room to play tabletennis, dart or pool in Port an Eilean. Thank you for a great trip.
    Mr Schwiertz - April 2018
Brilliant location right on the loch. House was comfortable and well equipped. The games room was an added bonus being part of the cottage and better equipped than any we have had previously. The cottage is a little isolated being 25 minutes drive from the nearest town. But you do get peace and quiet and the loch essentially to yourself. There was no one in the big house while we were there but it's far enough away not to worry. We had a great time and I would recommend it.
    Mrs Deery - August 2016
Port an Eileen Cottage is a beautiful cottage, ideal for family gatherings with children. We only booked the cottage for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday within our party however this would be a lovely cottage for a longer stay. The onsite games room was fantastic for the kids (including the big kids), the garden for the children to enjoy the fresh air and as the castle was not occupied we were lucky enough to be able to use the onsite tennis court which was enjoyed by the whole party as there were football goals there too. To celebrate the birthday we booked dinner at Fonab Castle (5star hotel) which was approx. 20 minutes drive from the cottage - would certainly recommend visiting Fonab Castle for a meal (advance booking required). In summary, excellent cottage and we would have no hesitation to rebook in the future.
    Mrs Porter - July 2016
The cottage was clean and full of light. It has fab views. Pitlochry close to hand, with plenty places worth a visit for a meal, or for a shop. Visitor centre at The Queens View, worth a visit too. Cottage location was quiet and very peacefull. Thanks Again.
    Mr Holland - July 2015
The cottage is very comfortable and cannot be faulted. As for the location, it is very, very special. A wonderful place.
    Mr Chapron - April 2015
We've been in Port at Eilean Cottage with 4 adults and 3 children for one week and we've really enjoyed it! The cottage itself is marvellous and the landscape breathtaking! We've met a lot of Scottish people while driving to Inverness, to Loch Ness, to Highland games as well as to Edinburgh and of course to Pitlochry and we really liked them a lot for their friendlyness and warm welcomes. We will come back to Scotland and we surely will stay at least 2 weeks and we'd love to stay in Port at Eilean cottage again.
