Stunningly converted from an original corn mill, masterfully designed to give a light, bright contemporary feel yet including many original features, all combine to make this an exceptional STB 5 star property. An open tread stairway connects the three floors with natural light filtering through the gaps of the ash wooden flooring. Botanical prints and unusual objects of art create an interesting interior. A wide and varied collection of books and games to enjoy in the evenings, with picnic needs, dog’s bed and large utility room to hold sporting equipment and muddy boots. The sitting room offers two seating areas with plenty of comfortable seating and an open fireplace for evenings; the original millstone and grinding wheel has been retained here. A few steps lead to a very well equipped kitchen with an Aga and dining area. The bedrooms are placed over three floors and are all en-suite. Lavishly furnished with attractive fabrics, electric blankets, bath robes and hairdryers. The Master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and stunning views. The attic bedroom is very large and is an ideal space for children.

The garden is fenced and a small stream, which ran the mill, flows through; swathes of bulbs (in season) give a natural, yet tended appeal. Rhynagarrie Mill reviews
We had a really lovely stay at Rhynagarrie. We were a group of three families, the room arrangements were perfect for us, we loved the open kitchen dining area which lead down to the sitting room, it was a really lovely spot, I would love to come back. There were plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans which was great as we cook every night and loved the HUGE boot room where we stored all our extra stuff we always bring with us. The Towels and bedding were of very good quality It was also very lovely and warm when we stayed in February. The only very small negative is that there is no fence so it wouldn't be safe to take dogs or small children, but then again there is a stream too so you wouldn't leave small children outside to play either.

We were delighted when we arrived at Rhynagarrie Mill, after our long drive from Hertfordshire, but the drive was well worth it. Julie the housekeeper was there to greet us and was very friendly, and indeed had been at the property to receive our Internet shopping and put it all away. The property is breathtaking, and has everything you need, the Aga being particularly wonderful to cook on. The nearby village of Archiestown has a lovely quaint hotel where we enjoyed 2 delicious meals, but was soon to change hands so I cannot comment on the current management. There are several distilleries in the area, including the Macallan where we attended a tasting and bought some wonderful single malt. All in all this property is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, or staying put to relax in comfort. We hope to return in the future.

A great place to be based with a large group, nice location, couldn't have asked for more.

Our Easter stay at Rhynagarrie Mill was wonderful! The quality of the accommodation was absolutely outstanding. The mill was like something out of 'Grand Designs' with some unique features. Where else could you sleep in a room with a glass floor over a mill stone? All bedrooms were of a good size with excellent en-suite facilities, so no-one felt they were getting the 'rubbish room'. Being the one doing most of the cooking, I have to say it was a pleasure. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a beautiful AGA which was a delight to cook on. The situation of the mill was beautiful. The views were lovely, although the Farm on the other side of the road may not please everyone. However the farmer did kindly give two members of our party a lift home from the pub on his tractor! I should also mention the wonderful housekeeper Julie, who was a great source of local information. We would certainly consider staying at Rhynagarrie again if our party is big enough next year.
