Taigh Nam Broc, Craobh Haven reviews
Taigh Nam Broc is a large spacious house with an elevated position giving great views out towards Mull. The house is well appointed and with a very spacious kitchen and dining area. Lots of space to park 2 or 3 cars next to the property and a short stroll downhill to the pub at the marina if you like that sort of thing. The downstairs relies on underfloor heating which stuggled to get the temperature over about 17.5C in the dining room and lounge, but light the wood burning stove and wait 2 hours and it reaches 20C without much trouble.

Great house, lots of space. iPhone dock and table tennis a big hit. Very comfortable beds and so quiet and peaceful. Oh and I nearly forgot, the amazing views. Woke up one night about 4am, the stars and the Milky Way were wonderful. So clear, only ever seen it this clear in the west coast of Scotland. Didn’t venture far, as weather great. Saw otters, porpoises, seals etc just from local walks. Oh and the local cat who came for tea every night! Hope to be back soon.

We had a very enjoyable family half term at Taigh Nam Broc. This is an immaculately presented, very comfortable and spacious house. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. And what can we say about the views? Stunning vistas out across the sea and many islands, from Jura in the south to the mountains of Mull on the northern horizon. A great mid Argyll location and a perfect escape from our city life. There were plenty of outdoor walking opportunities for us and the kids to enjoy. Kilmartin Glen, Crinan, Oban, Lochgilphead and Loch Awe are easily accessible by car. Oh yes, and there's a good pub and shop within walking distance, just in case. Highly recommend.
