The Mulberry is a charming holiday cottage sitting on the edge of the pretty coastal village of Lamlash on the beautiful Scottish island of Arran. This light and airy bungalow is ideally situated in a quiet residential setting just a short walk from the village centre with its glorious sandy bay looking out to the magical and historic Holy Isle. Set within a large wrap around garden and surrounded by majestic scenery, this comfortable, well-equipped cottage accommodates up to six guests with lots of space allowing everyone to relax and unwind.

Light floods in from the full-length picture window in the large and welcoming sitting room and the feature fireplace creates a cosy focal point for gathering around, perhaps with a glass of wine or a family board game, after an active day out and about discovering this fabulous island. The stylish, modern kitchen has everything needed for family cooking and opens to the sunroom where relaxed holiday meals can be enjoyed while looking out at the fabulous views to the summit of Holy Isle and the Monamore Hills. The early morning sunrise and brilliant evening skies are particularly glorious. From here a French door leads onto the patio creating the perfect spot for chilling out on a sunny day while providing a safe area for young children to play.

The Mulberry is conveniently located on the island’s main bus route giving you the opportunity to leave your car at home. Lamlash is one of Arran’s prettiest villages and has so much to offer all ages. As well as a supermarket there are also individual shops selling local produce and crafts and a good choice of restaurants, bistros, pubs and cafes. Seals are often seen sunning themselves close to the shore and from the pier, you can take a ferry to Holy Isle or experience an exhilarating powerboat wildlife and sightseeing tour to Ailsa Craig, with every chance of spotting a dolphin or basking shark on the way. The mild climate, beautiful surroundings and wildlife the Isle of Arran a joy to visit in any season and for the keen golfer, Arran is a paradise with seven courses all within easy reach.

Had such a lovely holiday here, the bungalow is a lovely place to stay.
    Ms Hudson - August 2019
This was perfect for my dad and his wife who both have limited mobility. All on one level and walk-in shower. And it was very good for me and my husband too. Lots of space, a garden to sit out in, 5 minutes walk from the shops and pub and shore. The garden was lovely with lots of visitors from the local wildlife. The lovely welcome basket which we tucked into quite a lot. We didn't have a dog but the back garden looks pretty secure.
    Ms Macintosh - June 2019
Clean&comfortable, had good parking and easy access to property, appreciated pet facilities and welcome basket was a lovely touch.Plenty space for four adults and dog.Very central for all amenities in nice surroundings .Would highly recommend, and hope to be back some time.
Mrs Mc Inally - April 2019
We had a lovely stay at the Mulberry. I went with my partner, mum, gran and dog. Perfect for us. The cottage was easily accessible for my gran with a walk in shower. The cottage it's self is beautifully designed with a big back garden which was great for the dog, even though he tried to sneak out through the gaps the trees. The owner provided a welcome pack including biscuits, dog treat and Easter egg which was a really lovely touch.
    Ms Burley - April 2019
Bright house, suntrap garden, handy location. The house had everything we needed inside and out. We can recommend The Mulberry for a relaxing holiday.
