A stunning new stone built barn set amidst the rolling Borders country with sumptuous interiors and fabulous views making it an exceptionally comfortable and desirable holiday house. Set on Blackhaugh Farm, this self catering house is named after a champion Aberdeen Angus bull reared on the farm, where you can now walk for miles across the 2000 acres. Set quietly well off the small country road it is a place for peace and country pursuits with a small loch with trout available nearby and 2 miles away the Tweed.

Inside this house is charming and stylish with its double height sitting room with wood burner and a mezzanine snug for quiet moments. A separate spacious kitchen/dining room is beautifully equipped with wood units and granite tops - a perfect spot for long meals. A ground floor double/twin with en-suite wet room is disabled friendly. All the bedrooms enjoy crisp white linens, memory foam mattresses, soft Anta tartans and tweeds and a luxurious yet welcoming feel.

This is a holiday property to savour whether you are fishing or walking all day and looking for a sumptuous retreat or for families who love the style and comfort of finer things. There is a pub a short distance away and the owners are happy to provide food for the freezer or catering if you would like. There is a second property, Dignity, of equally high standard within walking distance so if you have a larger party or two groups this would be ideal.

Fabulous house in a gorgeous part of the world. The owners were so helpful. The cottage was brilliantly equipped and very comfortable. We had the most amazing week. Glentress Forest is great for cycling as is the Tweed Valley Cycle Path. Kids loved ice cream from Caldwells and lunch at No 1 Peebles Rd in Innerleithen is super.

When we arrived to spend Christmas at Time we were greeted by a lovely warm fire and a home made cake. The owner had even gone to the trouble of putting up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. What could be nicer! The house itself was beautifully fitted out with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday, including linen and toiletries; something which is often not provided in a holiday house. There was also a plentiful supply of logs for the fire, also something that is often not very generous. There were lots of forestry walks in the surrounding countryside, and the local towns,eg, Melrose, St.Boswells etc had lots of independent shops to potter about in, besides all the Historical interesting places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Time, and I would have no hesitation in staying there again.
