This year we have rented the house with four people and because is such a big and comfortable house, we had a lot of privacy. The view is lovely and every day it is different. With some noises of the cows and the sheep it is really paradise. The house is well equiped and everything is there for having a pleasant time. The only thing is that the couch looks lovely, but sometimes it is not as comfortable as you wish. I think he had his best time and needed to replaced. For the next year we will be there again, We are sure of it.
Mrs Van Der Ree - July 2019
Great cottage everything there you require for a relaxed holiday, the small village is just a short walk and has almost all you would need during your stay. we found a lovely eating place called the Foodstore approx. 4 miles from the cottage with great views across the Moray Firth unfortunately it stops serving food at 17.00hrs. One complaint about the cottage and the reason we did not give it a 5 star rating was the very uncomfortable sofas.
    Mr Pearce - June 2019
Amazing cottage so well equipped everything you would need for a stay very comfortable and with great views down the Moray firth. Close enough to Dingwall if you need supplies. Great base for exploring the black isle but also very close to Inverness if the weather takes a turn for the worse. The big garden with BBQ was also great especially when weather was so nice. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in would go back in a heartbeat.
    Mr Lennox - May 2019
Second visit to Torgorm 3. Beautiful location . Cottage was excellent for our family trip. Plenty of space for everyone. Very well stocked with anything you could ever need. Very clean and well presented. Nice to see the farm animals too. A lovely touch by owners was the goodies left for us on arrival. Very much appreciated. We have already booked to go back in the summer.
    Mrs Gardner - February 2019
The cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely views and peaceful location. Everything needed for a relaxing family holiday and plenty of room in the garden for the dog to run around safely. Would highly recommend.
    Mrs Thomas - October 2018
We had the most amazing holiday here. First visit to the area and Torgorm 3 was the perfect base for visiting the surrounding area. The house was comfortable, fully equipped, well presented and the perfect space for 3 adults, two teenagers and 2 dogs. With a kitchen to die for and the views from the house are something you will never tire of. The house is on a working farm with us all enjoying having sheep and a family of cows as our neighbours for our stay. We explored all areas of the Black Isle with highlights including dolphin spotting at Chanory Point, relaxing with a picnic on Rosemarkie beach, and adding our "Cloots" to the large collection at the Clootie Well. Further afield we would highly recommend a visit to Dornoch beach with its miles and miles of sandy beach, for daredevils a visit to Corrieshalloch Gorge and for spectacular scenery Tarbat Ness lighthouse. We will certainly be revisiting the area again and would without a doubt book a stay at Torgorm 3 again with us making sure our stay at this fabulous cottage is much, much longer. Thank you.
    Mrs Hutcheson - June 2018
We were lucky with the weather so it was idyllic but if it hadn’t been so lucky, the cottage would still have been extremely comfortable & cosy. Very well equipped kitchen, nice showers & comfortable sofas. WiFi not great for TV watching but you can’t have everything!
    Mr Fellowes - June 2018
A very well appointed, tastefully modernised Farm Cottage with an excellent kitchen and open-plan dining/living area which more than met our expectations. The rural location and expansive views made for a very relaxing and peaceful setting, with local facilities available only a short distance away at Conon Bridge and Dingwall.
    Mr Thomson - May 2018
Had a great holiday in a lovely cottage we have stayed in before. Beautiful setting with great views. We found the "Storehouse" at Foulis which is well worth a visit. Great food for a meal or a snack and staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing time. Hope to visit again sometime.
    Mrs Chisholm - November 2017
The cottage was beautifully appointed having a well equipped kitchen with very modern appliances, three very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with a plentiful supply of hot water. The house was well heated and equipped with excellent WiFi. There is also an extensive range of TVs and music systems. Finally the setting was perfect having a wonderful view across the Cromarty Firth and nice walks for the dogs around the farm. We were also very well placed for the various activities we and our friends undertook. We will definitely consider booking again.
    Mr Toler - October 2017
We had a wonderful time staying at Torgorm 3. There were 5 adults and a baby and it was the perfect size. The open plan living area worked really well for a group, and everything was very comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views from the property, I think the photos don't do it justice! We loved waking up and watching the bull and sheep grazing in the fields and seeing the mist rise over the valley. There were a couple of minor teething problems with things like getting the heating to come on, and it would have been helpful to have a couple of dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid to start us off. But overall I'm really pleased we chose to stay at Torgorm 3 and would definitely return if we decide to holiday in the area again.
    Mrs Roberts - September 2017
A beautiful house, in a peaceful setting with amazing views. It was also a good base to visit many of the attractions available.
    Mrs Thelwell - August 2017
Very clean and well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings. Ideal for relaxing but plenty to do on the door step. Rosemarkie is a must.
    Mrs Hardy - July 2017
The House is very spacious, the view is nice. Unfortunately it was not as clean as is should have been. The fridge was not cleaned at all, we found things of the former visitors of the house in it as well as in the bathroom. When one opened the windows the dirt fell into the room. The terrace was not cleaned we found cigarette buds. There was no cusion for the chairs outside, no parasol, no ashtry for outside. We had to buy new sponges for the sink as the one which was there was weeks old. There was no instruction concerning the use of the devices etc.
Owners Response: "We are very sorry to hear that you did not have as good an experience as you would have wished. It is always our policy to ensure that the fridge contains milk for guests to use upon arrival and we will also, on occasion, leave condiments for their use too. Similarly we provide both shower gel and liquid hand soap for our guests. These may not always be new bottles. We also ensure that the cottage has toilet rolls, kitchen towel, tea, coffee, dish-washer tablets, bin bag and a welcome bunch of flowers and biscuits or chocolates. As the cottage is on a working farm in a rural location there may be times of year where dust or leaves cause problems when the windows are opened. The outside space at the cottage does have fabulous views and we do provide a table and chairs on the patio. We have however never provided either cushions or a parasol and as the cottage is a non -smoking one we do not provide an ashtray. We must apologise if there were cigarette butts on the patio and are sorry if the instructions for some of the equipment were not easily found. We will endeavour to make this more accessible in the future.Thank you for your comments. It always helps to have feedback so that we can improve our overall standards."
    Mr Nalbach - August 2016
Well situated very calm holiday house, near Inverness and the Black Isle. Well equiped house with all you need furniture and touristic information
    Mr Broucker - August 2016
We had a mixed week sun and showers but still found plenty to do. Great location for touring around both east and west of the north of Scotland. The drive to Applecross should not be missed, or the seafood lunch in the Applcross walled garden
    Mrs Alexander - June 2016
Beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings will definitely be back!
    Mrs Nicol - April 2016
Lovely cottage with every convenience you could wish for. Wonderful views over to the mountains. We enjoyed Rogie Falls, climbing Ben Wyvis and a day in Cromarty best. Delicious food from the Thai takeaway/restaurant in Dingwall.
    Mrs Cormack - February 2016
Excellent clean and spacious. Ideal location for Dingwall and Inverness. We visited Eden Court Theatre for a fun filled Peter Pan Pantomime ! The children enjoyed playing Christmas Games in the dining kitchen.
    Dr Marshall - December 2015
On walking into the house we felt immediately at home. Everything was spotless and welcoming. We found the house had all the facilities we needed and all in good condition. The location was good with easy access to local towns for supplies and views from the house are stunning. It was great to have the wifi. We found Torgorm No 3 was excellent in all respects and can only give the highest of recommendations.
    Mr Candy - August 2015
The cottage was very clean and had everything you would need. Home from home except I didn't want to leave! Lovely views and very peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
    Mrs Talbot - July 2015
We found the house very clean and tidy. There was a welcoming gift on the table and flowers and milk in the fridge. Cutlery and crockery was plentiful and clean. The shower downstairs was great, nice water pressure. All bedrooms were spacious for opening suitcases and still being able to move about. It was only about a five minute drive to Dingwall to Tesco to do shopping which was very handy after returning from a day trip. We would recommend the accommodation to anyone!
    Mrs Hömke - May 2015
We were very surprised to find that the cottage had everything we needed to have a lovely weekend away in the Scottish highlands. The rooms were very spacious, big bathrooms, good internet and a well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, less than an hour to Loch Ness and with stunning views over the farmland, perfect for a picturesque sunset. There were wooden benches on the patio at the back, great for a barbeque and enjoying toasted marshmallows round our small fire after dinner.
    Miss Shonubi - April 2015
This was simply the best house we have stayed in in 25 years of holiday homes, really well equipped with attention to detail. Glorious views every time you open the curtains! Brilliant to have a utility room when you come back in from a long walk with muddy boots. Spacious yet cosy, we would highly recommend Torgorm 3 to anyone wanting to explore the Highlands and Moray.
    Mrs Mcshane - April 2015
The place was excellent. Good appliances, comfortable beds. TV and internet. Fantastic rural surroundings. I understand that in some periods the farm will make noise, but that didn't happen when we were there. I only give 4 stars because the address Couldn't be typed into the gps.
    Mr Wennecke - September 2014
Our stay at Torgorm 3 was extremely enjoyable. The house was excellent and the view terrific. The reason we have given only 4 stars is because of uncomfortable sofas. Otherwise we found the house very well equipped and comfortable - exactly what we hoped for when we booked.
    Mr Carter - September 2014
A lovely cottage with great views set amongst beautiful farm land not far from Dingwall and Inverness. A great base for exploring Ross and Cromarty and especially the Black Isle. We particularly enjoyed the beach at Rosemarkie!
    Mr Jones - June 2014
An excellent house that was well stocked with a welcoming vase of flowers and all the necessary essentials for a cuppa on arrival. Great if you've forgotten to bring milk, coffee etc.! We couldn't fault the facilities and it was great to find there was the necessary dish washer and washing machine tablets provided especially with young children's fcaility to get dirty. It was also very safe for them outside. Definitely a place to be recommended for old and young alike. We had a very enjoyable stay.
    Mrs Swadel - October 2012
The accomadtion was ideal and very spaces for the 5 of us with grear views across country side to the Cromaty Firth The cottage was well stock with all required equipment, including enough pans etc for cooking.
    Mr Oates - July 2012
very well presented property with lovely views towards Dingwall and the hills beyond. The welcome pack was a),unexpected and b),delicious. The accommodation was perfect for our group, from granny to teenager. We would recommend a visit to Cawdor castle, the woodland walks are an adventure, take a picnic and enjoy the tranquility. You might be lucky enough to spot dolphins and seals from several scenic locations nearby or even an enormous cruise ship at Invergordon.
    Mr Heighway - June 2012
Very well equipped and very spacious. Beautiful inside and very clean. Lovely views. We would book again.
    Mr Emery - October 2011
This cottage is fantastic, views, equipment and the cottage itself is stunning.
    Mrs Poole - May 2011
We stayed at Torgorm 3 for a week and loved it. It's a very nice accommodation and everything was arranged for our arrival, which included milk, tea bags and towels. The weather was excellent and it was in the middle of lambing season, which made our stay even more memorable. I will definitely recommend the cottage and we would be delighted to stay there again. Thanks very much to all concerned.
    Mr Mackinnon - April 2011
Property is excellent; clean, tidy and well equipped. Owners leave a selection of goodies on arrival, a nice touch. Torgorm is centrally situated for exploring the highlands, with Inverness being only a short drive away. There is a large Tesco in Dingwall only a couple of miles away. I would not hesitate to stay there again, it was a home from home - just wish I lived in it!
    Mrs Rowley - July 2010
We have stayed at Torgorm 3 many times, we regard it as a home from home. It is a beautiful, comfortable cottage, with an excellent location as a base for touring the highlands and fantastic views. If I could buy it, I would! also, excellent welcome pack, best we've had.
    Mrs Mckenna - May 2010
