Torridon Sunrise is a beautifully welcoming property situated in Badachro, near Gairloch, on the scenic west coast, and about three miles off the famous North Coast 500 touring route of northern Scotland.

The house really is a home away from home – it contains everything you need for a great holiday. The spacious modern fitted kitchen is the perfect place to cook, with the dining area providing plenty of space to allow the family to gather around the table. A separate lounge with real fire, DVD and satellite TV provides an alternative space for members of the family to relax and unwind. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with the master bedroom having a separate en suite, in addition to the main family bathroom. And the house has wifi throughout, for those who want to stay connected. Outside the large enclosed garden has plenty of room for children to play in, with a delightful decking area to the rear of the house to sit and enjoy the sunshine with a glass of whatever you fancy. The garden also contains a sun house with dog kennels and a run.

Torridon Sunrise provides an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. The small village of Badachro in its sheltered bay has, in the Badachro Inn, right on the loch, one of the best pubs with food on the north west coast, only a five minute walk away. There is a lot to do right on your doorstop, whether exploring Dry Island with its floating bridge, or the beaches at Opinan and Red Point with glorious views over to Skye. For the more adventurous, Torridon Sunrise is an ideal base to explore the Torridon Mountains, whether you climb to the top or take one of the many less strenuous walks into the beautiful wilderness. You can see the peak of Baosbheinn from the garden, with Beinn Eighe, Ben Alligin, the spectacular ridge of Liathach and others in the range in easy striking distance.

The pretty village of Gairloch, a fifteen minute drive away, is the local centre. There is a bookshop, coffee shop, gift shop, places to stock up on groceries and a selection of pubs and restaurants. From the pier there are also options to book sea trips, fishing excursions and the like.

Overall, Torridon Sunrise is the perfect base for exploring this special corner of Scotland, and indeed the world.

We had a great time. Stayed here 4 years in a row now. Perfect place to relax and for kids to have fun
    Mr Mackenzie - July 2019
Torridon Sunrise is a fabulous house in a stunning location. The house was perfect for the five of us with all the mod cons and home comforts we needed. It was pretty much perfect to use as a base from which to explore the surrounding area and the Badachro Inn instantly became a favourite after our outdoor adventures. We’ll definitely be back!

For all the many years we have been holidaying in.Scotland, this has to be the best property and location we have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived with a nice welcome message on the chalkboard in the utility room and an email from the owner. The property was very light, spacious and roomy with wonderful views from all aspects. The view from the kitchen sink window was the best as we could see the harbour from there and watched the spectacular sunrises and sunsets, that occured throughout the week. Everything we needed was there and it all worked as it was meant to. The heating was left on for us and it worked very well but as the weather was fine we did not need it for the rest the week. The beds were very comfortable and the wi fi worked perfectly! All in a a great proprty and location, add to that the fantastic weather we had all week and the very friendly local people. I have to say it was definitely our best holiday in Scotland we have ever had.

Torridon Sunrise is a very spacious and warm property with amazing views across the bay towards Gairloch. The new owner is in the process of making his mark on the property and has one or two improvements planned. The beds were comfortable and cutlery, plates, bowls and mugs are new. Unfortunately we had one or two hiccups at the beginning of our stay but the owner was extremely responsive on the phone. There is much to explore in the surrounding area. Don't miss the fantastic beaches at Redpoint, Gairloch, Firemore and Mellon Udrigle. Also well worth a visit are the NTS gardens at Inverewe, the new (opening June 2019) museum in Gairloch and the very interesting displays at the Arctic Convoy Museum in Autlbea.

This is a very nice house in a superb location. Spacious and very nicely appointed. It is surprising how many properties have insufficient toilet comestibles but there was a good supply. The house is very nicely decorated and clearly well looked after. I would certainly recommend this house. My only issue was the master en-suite bedroom and bathroom were very cold as the under floor heating didn't appear to be working properly. It was working fine in the other rooms so this needs to be looked at. Oh and a few microwaveable dishes for heating veg would be good but other than that I would be more than happy to book this house again.
